In a ground breaking turn of events, the leader of the Holy Order of Adehgord, Líonard Droigneain, has opened the markets of Adehgord to the outside world.

In a speech addressed to the masses today, Droigneain announced:
"Our isolationist policies have brought us to the point where our great nation is producing surplus. We can benefit immensely if we decide to trade this for other goods, allowing us to reach a new form of self sufficiency. So as of today, we will be rejecting the long imposed 'Adehgord First' policy, to expand our markets in a limited capacity. This is something the government has been considering for a long time and we now feel as if it is within the best interests of our people and the economy to do this. Thank you."

Critics of Droigneain and the Holy Order have said that this is clear proof that the 'Adehgord First' policy implemented when they took power is a clear failure. However the government has been sending these critics to re-education classes, just to prove to them that the policy was a major success, and that the collective of the government and Holy Order, deemed that this is the best way to help our poorer neighbours thrive just as we do.

We here at The Adehgordian Free Press went around and interviewed some of the citizens of our beautiful and glorious nation, to get their opinion on it. One woman says, "It's amazing, our leaders have never led us astray, if they say it's best for us, then we must believe them. They sacrifice everything for us, and therefore we can trust that they have our best interests at heart." - Other members of the public all shared the same sentiment.

Adehgord to Bolster its military prowess​

The minister for war has announced due to struggles possibly in the future that all young men of ages 18 to 27 must report to their local recruitment office immediately or face punishment. Thank you.
