The World Assembly,
Recognizing the Target Resolution's stated goals of promoting socioeconomic development in developing and underdeveloped Member-States,
Appalled by the Target Resolution's provided mandates for recipients of the World Assembly Development Foundation (WADF) Loans, including;
- The promotion of 'good governance' via arbitrary, mandatory, undemocratic government reform, with the clear purpose of rendering a recipient Member-State more open to external economic investment and exploitation,
- Mandatory austerity measures rendering a recipient Member-State incapable of maintaining a functional, financially solvent government or government services,
- Mandatory trade liberalization measures, rendering a recipient Member-State incapable of effectively developing an independent, fully-realized, and healthy internal economy,
- Mandatory privatization and deregulation of a recipient Member-State’s industries, resulting in proven increases in costs, environmental harm, and damage to workplace safety standards and wages,
Finding that the powers and mandates of the WADF render it structurally and foundationally incapable of being meaningfully impartial or beneficial to recipient Member-States, regardless of the famed impartiality of individual World Assembly staffers,
Disgusted that the WADF effectively enforces a single, politically weak, economically devastated, and easily exploitable form of government upon recipient Member-States, regardless of national priorities, traditions, or democratic desires,
And Declaring that the actual function of the target resolution is exclusively to impoverish, exploit, and economically subjugate developing Member-States to the benefit of already economically advanced Member-States,
Hereby repeals General Assembly Resolution #226, WA Development Foundation.
