Forum Mentor Guidelines and Templates

Welcome to the Forum Mentor Guidelines and Templates! This thread will be used to establish uniform guidelines and templates to help both new and experienced mentors with communicating with their mentees/newer players. Since the archival of the old threads, this thread will be a combination of those three. I would like to thank Nimarya, Gorundu, and Skaraborg for their contributions to the current and previous threads.
 
Template: New Members without Citizenship

The Discord server is where a lot of the life and activity of the region takes place, and it’s one place where you can begin to strike up friendships with your fellow TNPers! In our main Discord server, you’ll also find an index of links to all our other TNP-related servers, including our RP server. [(Only include this if they haven't already applied for Eras; if they have, see end of this post for what to say) If RP is your style, feel free to check out that server and ask around about our two regional RPs, Eras (which takes place on this forum) and Strangereal (RMB based).]

Feel free to ask me any questions you might have, whether about NationStates, the region, or the forum itself. I know the forum in particular can be intimidating, but activity here will open you up to a world of opportunities to get you further engaged with the region. We’ve all been new at one point, so we’ll be happy to help you with anything.

If I might ask, what brought you to The North Pacific? What sort of things are you interested in? What might you like to do? Let me know, and I’ll see if I can direct you to the areas and activities that might suit you best.

Template: New Members who had their Citizenship rejected [Admin]

I have noticed that your citizenship application has been rejected because you are applying from a [IP type - check rejection post] IP. If you can, try applying while connected to the internet at your home, and that should fix the problem.
