The Security Council,

Observing the invasion of EmbassyRegionia by hostile forces,

Noting the community of EmbassyRegionia, purposefully dedicated to the goal of increased “interregional connectivity” by forming a network of embassy partnerships with regions across the multiverse,

Emphasizing the right of all regions that do not endorse hateful ideologies or undermine the sovereignty of others to build community throughout the multiverse as they see fit,

Aware of the zealous commitment to region destruction held by the parties involved in the occupation, as exemplified by their refounding of The Mystical Council,

Fearing that EmbassyRegionia may face ultimate destruction if the Security Council does not act to preserve its community and history,

Believing that a Security Council Liberation must prevent the imposition of a secret password, and aim to prevent the refounding of the region by hostile forces,

Hereby liberates EmbassyRegionia.

Overview
This proposal seeks to liberate EmbassyRegionia following its invasion by a coalition of raider groups led by the Brotherhood of Malice and the failure of subsequent liberation attempts.

Recommendation
With the very recent withdrawal of raider forces from the region, a new native Delegate has managed to take control. They have expressed their desire to password the region and provide it with security, something an Executive Delegate can do that is precluded by an active Liberation. Therefore, we wish to honor the wishes of the native population.

For the above reasons and in an update to our previous position, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote Against the Security Council Resolution at vote, "Liberate EmbassyRegionia"

A serious consideration needs to be made for the fascist activity related to this region. The problem with things moving this fast is you don’t always have a chance to consider them. I think it would be very unlike us to support a liberation for a fascist region that on its face is about defending it and the fact it isn’t fascist. Where we draw the line is something we sometimes struggle with and that’s why we need a chance to consider and determine whether the region’s activity and past, and key players, warrant their being placed in a very notorious category of regions.

It's not a fascist region though - our enemies in the Brotherhood of Malice are using a policy of the former founder that exercises more restraint in handing out the fascist label to paint the region as fascist. It's not the case. I don't agree with the policy of the now deleted founder, but I'm also not going to pretend like the fascist label isn't thrown around way too easily in gameplay - see Northern Redlands for an example of this.
