Delegate Elections have closed. In the first round, Aurora of Albrook led with 13 of 26 votes. This triggered a runoff, as it does not constitute a majority. In the third round of the runoff, after eliminating all candidates but Aivintis, Albrook, and Eastern Alksearia, Albrook received a majority of 14 out of 24 votes. Albrook is the new Delegate-Elect of The East Pacific. So far, Delegate Aurora has issued an inaugural statement (linked below), begun a roll call of executive staff and diplomats, and resolved to begin an application period to decide her cabinet, much in the style of outgoing Delegatlae The Atlae Isles.
Coincidentally, this day also marks the end of Elections for Provost of the 51st Magisterium, the legislature of The East Pacific. Zukchiva, a former delegate, arbiter, vizier, and provost, as well as a standing Deputy Provost, won 72.72% of the vote, and has been instated as the new Provost, replacing outgoing Aivintis. With the change in administration, the Chief Ministry of Foreign Affairs sees the retirement (or promotion, in the case of our shiny new delegate! of three Senior Diplomats. If your region is part of 1 Infinite Loop Hall, A Slanted Black Stripe Hall, or Bachtendekuppen Hall, you will be contacted by your new Senior Diplomat or Chief Minister Aivintis regarding new management of your sector of TEP foreign relations.
