Hi! A few days ago Thaecia received the results of its July General Elections.
It is as follows:
Executive:

Cabinet nominations:

Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Ashlawn
Ministry of Culture: Antenion

Since the election, some work has already been done in both chambers: in the Senate, ICH was elected Chair, defeating Emazia by 5 votes to 2, and has already started the confirmations of Nova Anglicum, Primo Order, and Ashlawn, "in a break from the usual conventions" as in previous terms all nominees had been confirmed one by one.
Meanwhile, the House leadership elections were unusually heated, with Sma Cyrillic (also known as SirShadow) clinching the speakership from former Speaker Marvinville by 6 votes to 5. The new speaker has already started work by overseeing the confirmation of Andusre as secretary of defense. The nominee was confirmed with only one vote against.
The election saw a possible revival of party politics, with the Thaecian Conservative Union getting 4 seats in the House of Commons, and the newly-formed Thaecian Globalist Party getting 3 seats in the Senate. The also newly-formed Radical Party had some success in the election as well. However, no coalitions have been formed, and the question of whether party politics will ever truly make a return to the political scene remains in the air.
