Their mission into the underdocumented regions of space surrounding the confederation had been a long and laborious mission for Captain Mathews and his crew. With much of the time of the trip being stuck traveling through derelict systems or discovering more primitives in their surrounding space. But this week had been different, after hopping out lightspeed in an adjacent system to the one they were in now, they spotted several mining ships which led them to this system from which the inhabitants of the planet asserted themselves and informed them of the space they had entered saying that they had arrived in the system of the planet Saria which was under the dominion of the Sekari Empire. After that Mathews introduced them to the Confederation the Sekari's requested they land to formally meet. And so Captain Mathews ordered his flight crew to land the vessel, as the ship descended into the planet's atmosphere and after had reached a certain level above the surface it was intercepted by two Sekari vessel's which directed Mathews to the Planet's capital of Senthala.

As the ship landed Mathew's turned to the crew members on the flight deck.

"My fellow Nova Terran's you have all done a great service to the Confederation, thanks to all your faith and determination we were able to make the first contact with outsiders since our isolation period began! So to all of you, I say thank you, thank you for your service, and thank you for your faith in not only me but our almighty God!"

At the brink of tears, Mathews wiped his eyes and gestured towards two security officers. And the three men proceeded out of the flight deck through the midsection of the ship, out onto a ramp which led to the ground of the spaceport where they were now docked at. As they walked down the ramp they were greeted by multiple approaching officials, along with guards for protection. And the first contact was about to be made.

Lady-Governor Khadaheen Quibke-Gacina Orogat Pehad gazed out to the city of Senthala from the illustrious quarters of her secondary palace. The towering metropolis stretched out before her, reaching all the way out to the horizon and beyond further than her eyes could see. The skies were filled with shuttles; commercial, personal crafts, cargo transports, and the like.

“Milady, the foreign envoy ship has entered the atmosphere. They proceed to the landing zone as we speak.”

Khadaheen turned about to see a man in the doorway of her study. He was clad in armor, gray in coloration; almost as if chrome had lost much of its luster, now shimmering dimly in the illuminated chamber.

“Very good,” Khadaheen nodded. “Prepare a shuttle and my escort. We shall fly out to the landing zone as soon as possible.”

“Yes, milady!” The soldier pounded his fist on his chest and rushed off to execute Khadaheen’s command.

The landing zone was a large platform extending from the Maccada Palace, a massive building complex that served as the official residence of the Planetary Governor. A host of honor guard soldiers were lined up on both sides of the walkway leading up to the platform. Khadaheen awaited for the alien vessel to land before her, intending to greet them in person immediately off their ship.

The alien vessel was small; she could recognize that as it approached. Prior scans indicated that it was a small vessel, only about sixty-ish meters in length. It would certainly fit within the confines of the landing platform.

The ship came down to the platform slowly, guided by two imperial starfighters as an escort force. Its landing gear was extended from its underside and it made a safe landing. A doorway opened on the vessel revealing human figures who stepped down to greet them.

Khadaheen stepped forward, armed cross in front of her to show that she hid no tricks nor weapons. A warm smile upon her lips, she came before one whom she assumed was their ranking officer.

“Hello, explorers from distant stars and unknown tribes. I am Khadaheen Quibke-Gacina Orogat Pehad, Lady-Governor of the planet Saria, and servant of His Imperial Majesty, Vissarion III, Emperor of the Sekari.”
