Opening moments to larger conflicts that don't need, or, at least, aren't going to get full threads to themselves, a snapshot of history that's colored your character's actions for decades, or maybe something so simple as a glimpse into the daily lives of your people; this is a place for them.

"Powering Our Future"​

The Kaeler Extraction Corporation, often simply referred to as KEC, is a public trading and deep-space mining company within the Sekari Empire. The company is headquartered on the Sekari capital world of Cyrn.

Founded in 216 AEF (After the Empire's Founding) (2631 CE) on Cyrn by Cade Kaeler, the KEC has since grown to be at the forefront of Sekari deep-space mining and is the largest space mining company and seventh largest company overall in market capital. The KEC is also widely known for the construction of the famous Planetcracker-class vessels: massive mining ships capable of harvesting chunks of a planet's crust. The most famous of the Planetcrackers is the USG Axia, in service since 498 AEF (2913 CE) and with 52 confirmed planetcracks. The USG Axia is also the largest ship in its class and with a crew of over 1,000 company personnel.
