WRITING AND ART CONTESTS

Hello all! This is the central thread for A Drop In The Ocean 2's writing and art contests! The Art Contest is fairly simple: starting with the opening of the festival on August 2, festivalgoers may submit works of drawn art (no photography!) in the #contest-submissions channel on the ADITO 2 Discord Server. The Captains will pick a winner at the end of the festival, who will be awarded a special medallion to be used however they see fit! Their art will also be featured on this thread.

As for the Writing Contests, at the start of the festival on August 2 the Captains will provide festivalgoers with the first writing prompt. Festivalgoers will have two days to submit a written response the size of a single Google Doc page and written in 12 pt. Times New Roman. The Captains will pick a winner, give out a medallion, and then release the next prompt. There will be a total of three contests during the festival from August 2-8, with the final day being reserved for the judgement of the art contest.
