I didn't want to clutter the court thread with this, but wanted to point out that my quoted remarks in the brief filled yesterday took place before Gross Misconduct was added to the criminal code, and that the "legal grey area of oath violations" I was referring to was the lack of a crime addressing oath violations. I had attempted, as Speaker, to use the oath to obey TNP law as a mechanism to remove RA members who refused to comply with the law at that time to register their WA nation with the government. That effort was struck down by the court at the time, as I recall.
