The World Assembly,

Aware of the high amount of proposals within The North Pacific,

Acknowledging the ever increasing demands of submissions of proposals, repeals, commendation, and condemnation,

Hoping to reduce the pileup of gaining more demands of submissions, and more time to see the effects of legislation,

Hereby enacts the following:

1. For the purpose of this resolution:
  • A "time period" is one week after the proposal has been voted for.
  • "Proposal" is defined as any forum that would be voted on either in Nationstates, or in TNP
2. Restricts any appeal proposal to new legislation voted for in TNP or NS, until the time period is met to see the after effects of the proposal.
  • If a vote were to fail, the time period would not take affect to reinstate the proposal after being revised
  • A repeal can be drafted, but not submitted until the time period has ended, or come to a halt due to any new circumstances.
3. If one is to modify any new submitted, and passed proposals, the time period would still be put in place, and the creator would have to wait until the period has passed.

4. Discussions on revising, repealing, modifying, or tampering with a submitted, and passed proposals can take place during the time period, but the proposal cannot be altered during the period.

5. In order for a time period to be halted, the creator would have had to have taken down a proposal, or an executive taken down a proposal.
  • If a time period is halted, but the proposal is reinstated, the time period would reset upon the reinstation.
