Jordon Semenova paces back and forth in his house. A huge grin spread across his face as he held an envelope from Yakuvony in his hands. The contents of the envelope were not opened up, but since it had the National Seal, he knew that it was official. His advisor came into the room. Semenova put down the letter. “Good morning, Allen!” he said as he greeted the man, shaking his hand. “So, what’s the morning report?” he asked in a cheerful tone. Allen pulled out his reading glasses and placed them on gently and delicately. He pulled out the folded piece of paper that he had been storing in his back pocket. He cleared out his throat and started to read the contents of his morning report.
“Well, sir. Starting over in the north, we had a new proposal to build a new system with Ulstome that would connect our nation with Ulstome to us Nirish via train. Ulstome is considering the plan and we expect to receive a response in around six days, maximum. Next, we have a group of High Schools known as “the Camino Lane” who are basically ranging from Lion Prep down to Alexis High School, who are calling for a chance to go on a cruise down to the southern tip of the world to see the Southern Aurora. And then we got an invite to a summit from the state of Yakuvony, and we are requesting that we send a professional and amateur delegation. There are five schools that applied for this chance, and we pulled out two; one known as the Oak Park Academy and the other known as the Emerald School. The Oak Park Academy delegation would be headed by Henry MacDonwald, and would have a delegation size of eight. The Emerald School delegation is headed by Robin Stewart and would have a delegation size of six.”
Semenova nodded lightly at the thought of the amateur delegations and tried to choose which one. He thought for a quick second. “Let’s go with… the Emerald School,” he said at last as he sent his letter to the leadership of Yakuvony.

Dearest President Yurievich,
We thank you for your invitation to your marvelous country so that the Republic of Nirey can move forward on the global diplomatic stage. For too long have we sat dormant and as the new nation on the block and now we are in need of diplomatic relations with nations outside of Icenia and that are not our neighbors. We thank you for the gracious invitation and we are proud to say that we will be attending the meeting.
We plan on sending two delegations. One of which is part of their school’s outreach program. The Emerald School is a school in Aska Falls, a community of Brooksyana. The academy comprises an elementary school, an intermediate school, and an upper school. The school's motto is "Inspiring our Future by Leading with Temperance". Led by Ms. Robin Stewart, this delegation comprises six students. They will be taking notes to put back in the form of a slideshow presentation in which they will present to their classmates in the upper school. We have them booked to stay at the Letov Hotel. They will be flying in on Friday.
The other delegation that we are sending a team from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that has not been assigned an embassy. This is a delegation of three men who are accompanying me and my wife. The names of the men are Reed Romanovich, Allen Petrovich, and Kyle Boleslaw. We will be flying in on Friday as well on the Nirish Leadership Jet.
We hope to see you on Friday,
Kind Regards,
Jordon Semenova

2 Days Later - THE EMERALD SCHOOL - 6:45 PM
The classroom was light while the outside was dark and cold. Parents and students alike were at the parent meeting before the trip to Yakuvony for a regional summit. Parents sat in the back and the six students were in the front. Gazes from student to parent were exchanged as the students were given their T-Shirts that they would be wearing to the airport on that Wednesday. Mr. Shulman exchanged a look with Ms. Stewart before he took the microphone. "Hello, parents. We are here for the meeting with some of the students that we knew could handle an opportunity like this," he said as he changed the slide. Once the slide turned to the travel plans, everyone's eyes were glued to the screen. "So, first things first, the event will be held in the Beloye Zdaniye in Yakuvony for a seven-day-long Summit between Nirey and Yakuvony. Our students will be able to spend time with world leaders and diplomats and advocates. Here is Ms. Stewart who will lead our delegation," said Mr. Shulman as she turned the amplifier to Ms. Stewart. She tested it out and began to speak once more. "So, for travel plans, everything is tentative. We will definitely fly ShanAir out of Shannon International Airport at precisely 8:30 in the morning on that Friday. We thought we could do it at night, but it would be hard to meet at that point at night and not be late for the opening ceremonies. In other words, students, it is your responsibility to get the advanced absence forms into Mr. Dixon in time. We will make a very quick layover in Hamilton. That is where we will have time to have lunch as a group as well as switching terminals as I believe the International Terminal for trans-ocean flights," she said.
"After our layover, we will board another jetliner. It will have a left, right, and middle row, so students can be in the same area. We know for a fact that we will be in the middle of the plane, but we do not know which rows we will have. Then, we will fly out of the same airport we flew into. We will have another layover in Hamilton. However, this one will be longer, so we will have time to travel around the city. We will likely see the Snow Scraper, Air and Space Museum, eat lunch, and maybe even take a boat tour. Our layover will be around ten hours. Then, after this layover, we will return home where you will be free to be picked up by whoever is here that is your parent or guardian." The students each nodded as the slide turned, "For packing, you will be packing for an eight-day-long trip, ten counting the travel days. Pack wisely and have a suitcase that has enough space. You will need to pack a pair of pajamas, eight or nine shirts, three pairs of shorts, five pairs of pants, one or two pairs of shoes, a notebook, pen, headphones and a phone for the plane ride or anything, charger, a swimsuit since the hotel will have a pool, a hat, sunscreen, normal toiletries, and a dressy outfit for dinners," she said. The slide changed to a slide regarding travel expectations. Ms. Stewart cleared her throat and spoke. "We expect you at 8:30 and no later. We need you to follow all school rules as there will be six of you and one of me. Remember to not be noisy or obnoxious at any point on this trip, not saying you will. We are representing our school, county, city, and nation. We expect you all to behave so we can keep on doing so." She turned to the last slide. "Communication... We will all be in touch through SkiMail,” she said as she put up a slide with the QR Code, “Scan this QR code once you get the application and we will add students to a group chat and parents to another. This is an easy way of communication as not everyone here has an international data plan."
Carson nodded. He was excited because this would be his first international summit and he will spend it with six of his friends. Mr. Shulman turned towards the parents. "Now that you have had this orientation, please step into Ms. Stewart's room to wait for your students while we talk to them. Parents did as they were told and exited the room. Once the parents had left, the door was shut. "Alright, guys. You all are awesome. However, I just want to run a debrief by you guys because it seemed that some of you had been spaced out," he said drawing laughter. "We meet at 8:30 at the airport. If you guys want to, we can make a plan for us all to meet at school before school starts at 7:45 and we can take the Expedition down to the airport and we can all be there as a group. However, the only problem is the luggage situation. However, we can make it work. Next, remember to bring a notebook as well as packing diligently. You will have carry-ons, but be sure to pack the things you need for the plane in there. We will all check-in as a group at the airport, and once you are done with checking your bags in, you will hand your passport over to your teacher. We will be staying at the Letov Hotel. Any questions?" Nobody raised their hand and Mr. Shulman smiled. "Good! You guys are dismissed. Remember. Tomorrow morning!" The students scattered and the teachers each left to get their classrooms set for the substitute teachers for the next week.
