Talvezout (tælvɛsaʊt): An island nation located of the coast of Northwestern Meterra. Flavorful and exotic.

Despite the size of the islands of Talvezout, most of the population of the nation is clustered around Northern and Southern Talvezout in various population centers, with the rest being scattered across various areas . This fact, combined with the intense grandeur of the landscape and prominent collectivist identity of the Talvezian culture, has been central to the Talvezian ethos - a nation divided by its land, yet united on a level beyond any physicality. As poet and writer Amira wrote in her exploration of the Talvezian psyche, the seminal novel United in Distance, “Talvezout is a nation of oxymorons. We are fundamentally disparate, a haphazard mixture of various nationalities, beliefs, ideologies, ethnicities, and heaven knows what else. We are kilometers apart due to the trees, rivers, valleys, mountains, deserts, and oceans that separate us. And yet, we remain ever stronger. We are a million rods tied together - individually we break apart, but together we are united in strength.”
