Hi all! I'm still not entirely certain what Influence in the game accomplishes. Do you get certain perks in the world assembly such as more voting power?

Influence is used to determine whether a nation with the border control ability (the one that lets you set regional password, ban, and eject players) is able to eject another one. The more influence you have, the more influence it costs for you to be banned or ejected. That is why the region encourages endorsing each other (endorsements received determines the influence you generate) as it increases the influence in the region and makes it harder for a rogue Delegate to coup the region. Influence is used to set passwords on a region as well, however, as a GCR, we do not have the ability to set a password (and setting one would be mostly useless).
There are some other side benefits of influence. Collecting a lot gives you a gold badge, it is used in determining rarity of your card, and it can help you in the challenges mini-game.
