Syrxian-Swind Free Trade Agreement (SFTA)

The Syrixian-Swind Free Trade Agreement, SFTA, is a common market treaty between the Syrixian Empire and the Republic of Swindenland. The negotiations were fairly quick and the treaty was designed to be simple and productive. Swindenland already participated in the Prosper Auroria programme therefore further cooperation and integration was not seen as a obstacle for the freedom-loving Republic. This treaty will only come into effect after a mandatory referendum in Swindenland.

The Parties to this treaty reaffirm their commitment to maintain friendly relations and trade feely among them. They seek to promote well-being for Syrixia and Swindenland. They are resolved to unite their efforts for a common market. They therefore agree to this Syrixian-Swind Free Trade Agreement:

Article 1

The parties to this treaty shall be the the Syrixian Empire and the Republic of Swindenland


Article 2

The parties agree to form between themselves an area of open and free trade.

The parties agree to gradually align their economic policies to better facilitate the same.


Article 3

This treaty can be amended with unanimous agreement among signatories.


Article 4

Signatories can immediately cease to be parties to this treaty with a notice of denunciation to the other party.

This Treaty shall be deposited in government archives of the Syrixian Empire and public libraries of the Republic of Swindenland.


Article 5

This treaty comes into force once all original signatories ratify it.
