Foreign embassies in Lawston
Magandang buhay! If you're a visitor in Lawston, the foreign embassies, consulates, others and such diplomatic missions and offices are your sanctuary. In these safe and secure spaces, your government can still work for you while you're visiting us, just like when you visit other countries. They keep important links to your lives back home connected to you while visiting here. Because of their work, you have all the time in Lawston.
And how do you spend your time here? Up to you, of course!
You can't tell the differences between an embassy and a consulate? Here's how...
Embassy
Usually found in the capital city, they represent your country and usually host diplomacy between the host country (ex. Lawston) and the country they represent (ex. your country). This is the same for every country in the world. It is what experts usually refer to when they say "diplomatic mission". This is where you find your ambassador and their main office. Sometimes, the embassy doubles as their residence.
Although it's true they process visas and other travel documents, most embassies can't do the work all on their own. That's why there are...
Consulates
Like an embassy, it is also a diplomatic mission. But still very different. Unlike an embassy, consulates are located outside the capital city and can be found anywhere in the host country, depending on the country's size. This is because if in case their citizens congregate in a far and unreachable part of the country, the work embassies can't do for their citizens there can instead be done by the nearest consulate. They're like satellite offices of the embassy. Because diplomacy and other important work is left to the embassy, a consulate's main job is to assist their citizens. If something bad happens, you can count on a consulate to provide the necessary assistance you need.
Where can I find them?
