In this thread, I will compile a list of mentorship templates I have created for easier and more efficient outreach to new members. I am making these templates public so that other mentors will have the option to use these if they wish. I intend to add more templates as I create them for different scenarios.

Introduction Message to Members Without Citizenship:

Hello [member’s name]!

My name is [your name], and as a mentor for The North Pacific’s forums, I would like to reach out to you and offer a warm welcome. We’re really glad you’ve decided to join us! I hope you enjoy your stay here in the region, which I’m sure you’ll find is full of wonderful, friendly folks who would love to get to know you better.

Feel free to ask me any questions you might have, whether about NationStates, the region, or the forum itself. I know the forum in particular can be intimidating, but activity here will open you up to a world of opportunities to get you further engaged with the region. We’ve all been new at one point, so we’ll be happy to help you with anything.

If I might ask, what brought you to The North Pacific? What sort of things are you interested in? What might you like to do? Let me know, and I’ll see if I can direct you to the areas and activities that might suit you best. 

Finally, because becoming a citizen will not only allow you to vote and run in elections, but is also the first primary step to begin really participating in the region, I would suggest that you go ahead and apply for citizenship, here: https://forum.thenorthpacific.org/topic/9145386/

I hope you enjoy your stay here, and I think you’ll find that this region is full of helpful, friendly folks who would love to get to know you better.

You’ve taken the first major step to becoming more involved in the region, and now you have all sorts of opportunities ahead of you. My name is [Your Name], and as a mentor for The North Pacific’s forums, I’m here to guide you as you start exploring the various activities you can engage in. 

I would like to note that while you might not have citizenship just yet, you should have it very soon, and there are a bunch of things you can still do in the meantime! To begin, I highly recommend you join our main Discord server here: https://discord.gg/G9yC8Km

The Discord server is where a lot of the life and activity of the region takes place, and it’s one place where you can begin to strike up friendships with your fellow TNPers! In our main Discord server, you’ll also find an index of links to all our other TNP-related servers, including our RP server. If RP is your style, feel free to check out that server and ask around about our two regional RPs, Eras (which takes place on this forum) and Strangereal (RMB based).
