Introduction
Alexander Clayton was a well known Krevti Philosopher and a story writer who mostly depicts common people and some other sections of society and their living conditions through a series of stories. He travelled long distances across Krevt when he was a child. While traveling he observed each and every activity of a person and wrote a diary depicting his observations. He was one of 710 member comprising committee that wrote Krevt's Constitution.

After the fall of communism on 31st October 1970 however, he was found missing from his house. After 50 years since PFP got in power, there's not even a single trace of him in Krevt.
This is his very first series.
All the characters and their names are fictional. The story about these characters however is real.

Chapter I : The Evil Army


December 12, 1933 As the sun set in the Covicos, a peaceful countryside with large acres of Tea and Rice Farms, Mary Beth a lady who was almost 25 years old completed her chores and started to help her children in their routine homework from school. She had 2 sons George and Maxwell, one who had joined the Army and one who had just reached grade four. Her husband was an alcoholic lazy worker who came home late or barely made it home from the nearest bar. Usually he was escorted by a group of villagers who helped him reach his home.
One Day, Mary asked her husband, "Why honey?! Why?! Why do you keep me worried about you?! Why do I have to look after you?!." She continues, "Why don't you contribute to the country as our son does?!"
Her husband replies "Y-y-you kn-know why I k-k-keep myself away from-m-m this Government ser-v-vice stuff! It is because this c-c-country is being run by bunch of fools! Who don't even care about what I do or not! It is not that I'll get a promotion or a wage hike! As they do in other countries!." He continues "man, I should just leave this countr... Oh w-w-wait, I can't! Non of us can! For the sake of mo-t-t-therland! The airports are reserved for our mighty president! Who does nothing but sit all the day smokin a cig and watching strippers! Hah!.."
A patrolling soldier hears such loud screams and enters the house.
Mary's husband gets shot in his legs. Then one of the patroller says "You don't know what you've got yourself in now!, Either get jailed for lifetime, or join the mighty Krevt army!"
The patroller then looks at Mary, inappropriately touches her and continues ".. otherwise I may have to taste this beautiful deer waiting for the prey.."
Mary's husband shoots two bullets in the patroller's eyes and chest with his pistol that he usually carries around the waist.
The second patroller tries to shoot Mary's husband but fails, as Mary's son George shoots him as he returned home after completing his day shift.
George says "This isn't what we brought communism in the country! A better place where every person lives happily is what my ancestors gained independence for! If this what army teaches! Then it's better to die than to serve it!" He then spits at the two dead patrollers.

Chapter II : The Rise of G-faction

January 1st 1934, As the new year celebrations were held across Krevti towns and cities, a group of retired Kyrvat Trade Co. Police officers hosted meetings in the Krevti capital of Talpas.
John Erikson, the head of this meeting proposed a radical coup against the Central Government.

January 4th 1934,
To muster support, they started mass circulating their propaganda through radios, secret newspapers and banners.
KIB however, soon got to know about the activities of this group.
January 8th 1934
One day when The G-faction started a massive rally from Talpas' Countryside to its administrative district. On their way, a massive explosion occurred with many getting injured.
John Erikson and his supporters were heavily wounded. Other members however started collecting arms and ammunition from old local gun factories.
The next day Jeff Robinson, the deputy head of G-faction called John to the hideout of GFaction.
He said while looking at arms and ammunition "look chief, here's what I got for ya. A remarkable collection of toys that will be loved by our President..". John replies "In this pseudo socialist country, a revolutionary coup has never happened before. Even the Kyrvat Trade Co.'s regime shift was staged by these pseudo socialists. It was all a bloody big LIE!" He continues " but now Krevtis will live in a world where everyone's free to do whatever he wants. Liberty, the only instinct which is natural to human shall be allowed for a glorious return to the past days! But with a vision! A vision of progress and prosperity!"

January 10th 1934
John Erikson issues a notice to its faction members for a nationwide strike and urged people to participate in the rallies. He then proceeds to the President's House in Talpas.
President Robert McHousie invites John for a one to one private meeting.
McHousie says "Oh you poor John, how much have you been worrying about our country! This country is greatful to have people like you serving society!" He pauses for a while and continues "..but at what cost you know? Who do you think you are Mr whatever Erikson because this country is run by me , the army follows me, the farmers produce food for me! Do you think they'll fall into your Right Wing propaganda?! Huh?"

John smiles and says "well well, I forgot to show you something.."
He then takes McHousie to the front balcony and sees more than hundreds or thousands of Krevtis holding GFaction banners and flags.

McHousie then pushes him and tries to run away. He reaches his private helipad.
John carrying a radio commands to the crowd outside. "This coward is trying to run away from us! Let us show him who we are and why we are here!
For the glory of Krevt, charge!!!"

While the Krevtis march into the president's house destroying every trace of socialism and loot the weapons, John chases McHousie.
However, John couldn't make it on time, as McHousie had fled away.

Chapter III : An Unexpected Betrayal

Just months after G-faction which was renamed to PFP or Prime Freedom Party took over the Government buildings and offices, John Erikson who had proclaimed himself as the Premier of Krevt, was called by McHousie's secretary to the Southern District of Talpas to look into the riots being caused and reasoned to as the aftermath of the coup.
John along with his four co-members arrive at Southern District, but to their surprise there was no such riot happening. He finally looks around and sees a poster which said "Poor John's Unexpected Death".
He then runs towards his co members and asks them to bring the jeep. But none responded. They were actually the KIB agents who had somehow managed to make co-members disappear. Just as the KIB agents were going to pull the trigger, they are shot in their heads by an unknown sniper sitting at the top of an old building.
The sniper shouts "You need some help, don't ya?"
He takes John to an age old saloon and makes him sit.
The sniper says "Mr.Grandpa or whatever you're named, don't you fear death?"
John replies "Nah, it's the courage and fearlessness of mine to achieve democracy. This fearlessness to die for my country is my will power!"

The sniper laughs and says "Oh, you really think all this mess will end someday? If you think so, then you may need to have some history lessons from me"
John looks at the sniper confused, and asks. "Mess?..oh you mean this communist regime..? Hah.. of course it's a mess"
Sniper replies "No. This ain't the mess, it's the result of a mess" he continues "come let me show you something."
He takes John to a torn library with spiders crawling over books.
John says "So this is what you're talking about?, Books about Kyrvat Trade Co.? The history of sailors?"
Sniper replies "That ain't just about the Company and sailors, it's the thing that started it all"
Sniper continues "well,I guess you didn't get what I'm trying to say,... Sit I'll let you understand"

Chapter IV : A Gloriously Staged Past?


The sniper starts his history lesson, "It was in 1804 when Sailors and Merchants of Kyrvat Trade Co. Arrived at Krevt. They established their very first tool factory near the coastal areas. They were successful in creating a monopoly over the course of three to four years in the market. In 1816, they started hiring mercenaries and contractors to strengthen the security of their factories and also to eliminate any new competitor from entering the market. For this they converted their tool factory to a weapon factory to provide arms and ammunition for the masses. Since these weapons were mass produced, their costs were low and affordable. This resulted in an armed population willing to join Kyrvat Trade Co.'s Security Forces Which was later renamed to Secret Police Services. Now, since more and more merchants started to retaliate against monopoly held by Trade Co. The Kyrvat Trade Co's chief carried out a strategically planned coup to stay in monopoly while also making merchants happy."
John asks "what coup? What strategy?"
Sniper replies "patience bruh patience!
On 12th November 1819, Kyrvat Trade Co officially agreed to give up political power over Krevt! Great.. isn't it? But why name this territory Krevt you might ask? In the honor obviously as they say. But if we gained independence from this company to become free from its influence after 2 years of authoritarian rule, why name a after it! Not only this, But the next day when the Treaty of Bruwicton was signed to allow Kyrvat as the only defense contractor and contribute towards national security, the real mess started"

John asks "why does this even matter in the first place?"
Sniper continues "It matters because it's the root of this glorious mess! And you know who led the Anti Company revolution? One of the deputy chiefs of the company! And guess what? Who were the members of the first cabinet set up after coup? It was the nephew of Kyrvat Hedgeman himself, the co-founder of company! To make matters even worse, they held a Private Conference just a day before the coup!"

John gets surprised, but before he asks anything, Sniper hurriedly says "And to make matters look realistic, the company started publishing propaganda against the government and lowered the prices of arms even more! And if you think that PFP is an independent party, it isn't. PFP is funded by Kyrvat Trade Co just as it does to the KCP! So technically all the anti government propaganda, all the pro government propaganda are just to make Krevtis fight among themselves and buy arms to make profits to the Kyrvat Trade Co.! And haven't you wondered as why only one party opposes it everytime?! And why did every attempt to overthrow this regime fail? Did you even think about that?! No! Because we're greedy species. It's our natural instinct. But the quest for truth isn't!"

John screams and bangs his fist to the table "Heck! All this revolution and anti government propaganda is to make us fight amongst ourselves!" He continues "why didn't I think of this before! Why?!
It was a big fat lie all the time!"

The sniper escorts him back to the President's House safely.
But they never reached there.

Chapter V : The Nuclear Programme


May 5th , 1944. A regular cabinet meeting held by the KCP plans to establish a nuclear programme under the regime even though it was a difficult task. Given that a large number of people might not agree to wage a war against friendly neighbours, The Central Government was keen to get Krevt Nuclear ready both for defense and for economic purposes. Not only would it give a boost to defense forces as an emergency backup, but also reduce dependency on Coal by Krevti energy agencies.
It was a great plan, But required some reasonable amount of funds government didn't have. But certain militia groups operated by PFP did have the funds. To make the programme cost efficient, PFP had the talent and scientific research capable of doing so. Hence, KCP signed the Broswels Convention that allowed the private Militias to have a share in the Nuclear Programme whilst contributing towards its cost efficiency and speedy development.
But this is were the Government did the nightmare job. Giving the nuclear arsenal to the militias that weren't controlled or supervised either by KCP or Kyrvat Trade Co. Could have ended up in a dangerous blackmail style governance.
And this nightmare came true.
On 17th February 1970 after just three months of completion of Nuclear Programme, the Militia group organized a public supported mass coup and threatened the Central government to give up power, else Krevt would become a land full of rotten dead bodies from nuclear radiation.
The KCP however did not want to lose the power it had inherited from the company. KCP officials ordered the army to move into the city and open fire at the crowd.
KCP did what the Militia wanted. Just within hours of fighting with the army men, the militia chiefs surrendered and agreed to armymen and moved back to the Southern District.The crowd too moved back to the Southern District, 80kms from the administrative district. But what KCP didn't notice coming , was the detonation of one of the nuclear bombs over the administrative capital.
The whole district now turned into a nuclear zone. It's radiation killed millions of the bureaucrats and KCP party workers along with filthy rich politicians
KCP which one admired itself for controlling the lives of millions of Krevtis, now became a defunct organisation and more or less blew out of existence.

Chapter VI : The Present Day Krevt
(Not from Alexander Clayton's writings)

Today, after 50 years since the radical communist regime fell, Krevt has become a better place. Since 1970, when the new socialist regime took power, new reforms and Economic policies accelerated Krevti Development. From being a pro communist country where restrictions on imports hampered the economy, to being a semi socialist country where state controlled every welfare orientated programmes and education. The new Krevt saw an era of educational as well as health prosperity with better housing conditions and much restricted expenditure on defense.
Today, even though Krevt doesn't stand tall with other Economic powerhouses or defense superpowers, it certainly has become capable of keeping its people happy.
With ever growing concerns for climate change, the new socialist regime had established the EPC (Environment Protection Commission) that was kept above even the Supreme court and the legislature to promote sustainable development in the country.
Today, Krevt meets it's almost 93% of Energy demands via renewable energy, and that most through Solar,Wind and Geothermal. Being a tropical country has given Krevt an edge to meet its energy demands through Solar and Wind.

The military is now seen as a self defense force rather than an invading force. Since 1978, the Central Government has maintained an overall personnel of 170,000 troops with gradual decommissioning of unwanted aircraft carriers and fighter jets.
In 1989, the Krevti Government officially declared it's "No first use" policy to prevent any future government from interfering in international matters through force.
It's nuclear powered bombs and a range of ICBMs have been fully kept for reserve purposes in case any imperial power tries to invade Krevti Territory.
