Announcement: Endorse Your Heart Out

What is "Endorse Your Heart Out" all about?

It is the season of love with Valentines Day right around the corner, as such we will be encouraging all of you to "Endorse Your Heart Out" and share the love this season by endorsing other members of The North Pacific.

You may know that The North Pacific is currently ranked #2 in the World for regions with the most endorsements according to the NationStates census.

We are working to improve our rankings through the fun spirit of cooperation by sharing the love. We'd like to see our region in the #1 position in the census ranking! This will require a significant investment on our part.

We believe together we can do better and we can do this together! This is an event sponsored by the The North Pacific's Ministry of Culture.

The event will run for two weeks, starting on the 11th of February and concluding on the 25th of February.

With the 'Endorsement Week' event, we want to encourage nations of The North Pacific to work together and each give out at least an extra 100 endorsements to other nations in the region. This event will be able to make a significant impact to our world rankings! This is no easy task, but through cooperation and a little bit of hard work we can get there! In addition, we are encouraging our nations to assist us with recruiting new WA nations! Encourage your friends on the regional message board and via telegram

Nations who participate in this event may win awards of varying levels depending on how many endorsements are given out individually and collectively as we meet various goals. So get to it - start exchanging endorsements right away!

How do I find other nations to endorse?

Simple! Visit our forum here and enter your nation name. It will generate a list of nations that you can open in a new tab to endorse. Cycle through the list and endorse as many as you can! The more endorsements you give to other nations, the more you will receive in return, our region becomes more secure, and we will be even closer to achieving our goals!

What are the endorsement goals?

In order to reach #1 in the world rankings, we have set a number of goals, awards and prizes for nations participating.

Our endorsement goals as a region are as follows:

Goal 1: Reach 270,000 endorsements
Goal 2: Reach 280,000 endorsements
Goal 3: Reach 290,000 endorsements
Goal 4: Reach 300,000 endorsements
Goal 5: Reach 310,000 endorsements
Goal 6: Reach 320,000 endorsements
Goal 7: Reach 330,000 endorsements (This brings us to #1 in the world rankings).
Goal 8: Reach 340,000 endorsements (This will help us to create a buffer in the world rankings).

If each WA nation increases their given endorsement count by 50 nations, we will reach this goal by the end of the event. You will need to endorse enough nations to account for any nations you are already endorsing that might CTE during the event. For this reason, we'd recommend endorsing at least 100 more nations.

What are the membership goals?

Our World Assembly member goals are as follows:

Goal 1: Reach 1425 WA Nations
Goal 2: Reach 1450 WA Nations
Goal 3: Reach 1475 WA Nations
Goal 4: Reach 1500 WA Nations
Goal 5: Reach 1525 WA Nations
Goal 6: Reach 1550 WA Nations
Goal 7: Reach 1575 WA Nations
Goal 8: Reach 1600 WA Nations

We will be posting periodic updates to the regional message board, and you can track our progress towards the regional goals using the graph below (you can click the image for an interactive version).


What are the incentives?

To motivate everyone to help meet our regional goals, at the end of the event we will run a single-day card lottery. For each goal that we reach, we will give out 10 legendary cards as part of the lottery. This lottery will be open to all nations who have endorsed another nation during the event.

There will also be a daily lottery during the event. This card lottery will be open to nations that have endorsed 90% (or more) of the WA nations in the region.

What about individual prizes?

We definitely have these too! There are many kinds of prizes, and you can see the table below for more details. You can use the scoreboards linked at the top of the dispatch to see how much progress you have made towards winning these individual prizes.

As you may know already, our Endorse Your Heart Out event has come to an end! Thanks to each and every one of you who participated and helped to share the love.

• We set a new all-time record for total endorsements exchanged within The North Pacific, reaching 315,000 endorsements. We managed to exceed the previous record, despite having fewer WA nations.
• Even though we were not able to reach all of our endorsement goals, we did get the #1 spot for most endorsements in the world!
• 441 RMB posts were made advertising the event! More than 50,000 additional endorsements were exchanged. A testament to the strength of our community activism.
• We have awarded 90 legendary cards and 820 epic cards to nations who participated strongly in this event!
