The GASC is an international affiliation of Social Credit parties in which constituent members may meet together to discuss electoral strategies and policy issues.

Social Credit is a distributive philosophy formulated by rural economists. The idea is that when an individual is suffering from outstanding debts or bills, they may tap into social credit (payment from the government) to help meet their need.

Social Credit parties are defined by Right-Wing Populist tendencies, combined with Social Democratic welfare systems designed to help agrarian communities primarily.

The party headquarters are located in Sainte-Beaudoin, Callise.
