I created this thread as a dumping site for my many instances of sudden world building. Everything that is Norsian canon will go in here. from information on Norsian automotive industries and company's to political parties, religion and even myths and folklore.

The BNSI is the domestic intelligence, security, and state law enforcement service of Norsia.
Founded in 1921 by Elena Malíková, Zbyšek Doležal and Farkas Noel under the authority of High King Wilfrid Severyn Saitta the Second. The BNSI was founded as a dedicated means to defend and protect Norsia and to enforce its criminal laws. It provides leadership and criminal justice services to state and municipal agencies.

Mission: To defend the Crown, Fatherland and the Norsian people.
What it combats: Terrorism is the top investigative priority of the BNSI and it works closely with all state, provincial and municipal partners and agencies to identify, analyze and neutralize domestic and foreign terrorist threats.
Counterintelligence The BNSICI is responsible for identifying analyzing and neutralizing national security threats from foreign intelligence agencies. Its efforts are grounded in exposing, preventing, and investigating intelligence activities on Norsian soil. To protect Norsia's secrets and its critical assets. and to counteract the activities of foreign spies.
CyberCrime In a world increasingly dependent on technology where a hacker can take out a nations critical infrastructure, The BNSI Cyber Crime division was founded in 1993 and is one of the more crucial divisions in the BNSI. It is responsible for investigating and combating cyber attacks by criminals, terrorists and foreign adversaries and devising ways to eliminate current and future vulnerabilities.
Public Corruption The BNSI created the Internal Corruption Unit in 1953. Public corruption is the BNSI's top criminal investigative priority. corruption of public and government officials can cost the state and the public billions of Jules, as well as endanger border security and state infrastructure.
The ICU program focuses on investigating violations of state law by public officials on the state, provincial and municipal level.
Overseeing the nationwide investigation of allegations of fraud related to state government procurement, contracts, and State-funded programs and more.
Civil Rights The BNSI founded the Civil Rights division in April of 2018 to protect the civil rights of the Norsian people. the Civil Rights division fight crimes of hate and human trafficking/indentured servitude. BNSICR work tirelessly to enforce Norsia's new human rights and civil liberties laws and statutes.
Organized Crime The BNSI founded the Organized Crime division in 1926 in a direct answer to the Norsian Mafia which in those days was experiencing a meteoric rise to power in the underworld. in the following years, it shifted its gaze to the bigger picture. Now it is dedicated to eliminating organized crime groups that pose the greatest threats to the national and economic security of Norsia. the Organized Crime division has found taking out key members of an organization to not be enough and has expanded in past decades to equip itself to be able to take out entire arms of an organization or the organization itself as a whole.
White Collar Crime Founded at the same time as the Organized Crime division the White Collar Crime Division focuses on financially motivated crimes that hurt victims as well as the Norsian economy, such as corporate fraud, money laundering, healthcare fraud, and falsification of financial information to name a few. They investigate corporations, companies and Government professionals.
Violent Crime The BNSI founded the BNSIVC or "Interior Police" as the public has coined them. While the BNSI focuses on national threats violent crime cannot be ignored and the Violent Crime Division was created to help provincial and municipal police combat crime problems that pose major threats to Norsian society. They focus on Violent crime incidents such as mass murders, sniper attacks, and serial killings, as such significant incidents can paralyze the communities in which they
occurred and can bring local police agencies to breaking point.
The Interior Police are also the go-to agents of the BNSI to execute State Warrants.
