Site 13 incident report:

Incident Summary: Earlier today, during routine inspections, the ML-23 launcher swiveled, and targeted a apartment complex on the hill top. The missile launcher fired without warning, striking the supports of the complex, causing a landslide and killing 126 people. Search and rescue efforts are still ongoing. The discharge was caused by a senior engineer. He'd recently been granted access to Site-13 for maintenance. He was contained by TF-13, and was sent to Site-2 for trial. He plead guilty to acts of terrorism and war crimes. He admitted that he did it to kill nonbelievers. He is sentenced to death by means of firing squad at Site-1 Super max Containment Facility, will be executed on October 6th.

Incident Status: Suspect Contained; search and rescue efforts ongoing.

Incident Summary:
At 0500 a unidentified presence was detected inside [redacted] base in Area-3. It was picked up during radio communication. According to the audio recording, the interference became more frequent over time. At 0600, the interference ceased. Communication was lost with Area-3. After a extensive search and rescue operation, out of the 1500 people stationed in Area-3, only one was found. Specialist John Carver was found curled up on the beach mumbling unintelligible words.

Incident Conclusion: Area-3 has been quarantined until further notice from command.

28 January 19XX

Yesterday morning, between the hours of 05:00 AM and 06:00 AM, Merilian naval vessels that were patrolling off the southern coast of Icenia intercepted radio communique. The transmissions were later pinpointed to a small island off the coast of Tribekistan. Satellite recon was called up by the Merilian Intelligence Community at 05:45 AM and the reports and images generated showed extensive damage and destruction to the island with no signs of life. Having waited a full twenty-four hours for the Government of Tribekistan to make an official statement, High Queen Freydís and the Parliament of Merilia feel that they have no choice but to condemn the Government of Tribekistan for their role in the cover up of the incident, lying to their people and being complicit in being silent to the international community at large over the incident and what caused such extensive destruction and loss of life. This incident at what is quickly becoming deemed a military is being labeled by the Merilian media as the 'Mystery of the Small Island'.

With the news that the Merilian government has reports and images of the effects of a horrific event that has taken place in Tribekistan with there being no signs of life on the island.
At 10 AM today both the Prime minister and our wise Fíorscoth have condemned the Government of Tribekistan for their deceit to the international community and worse to their own people.
All Ulstome civilians who use any form of Tribekistan good or service are to boycott and instead find substitues from either within Ulstome or another honourable nation.

Following the condemnation of the Government of Tribekistan earlier in the year for what has now been officially deemed the 'Mystery of the Small Island', the Government of Merilia is once more appalled by the incompetence of the Tribekistani authorities and military. This comes following a news break this morning of a misfire of a short-ranged anti-air missile launcher. According to reports on the Tribekistan News Network, it was fired during routine maintenance of the missile launcher. With this careless attitude towards security and ensuring peace of mind for its citizens, the Parliament of Merilia is hereby directing that all investment in Tribekistan be halted for the foreseeable future, a trade embargo be implemented on any goods imported from that nation and travel restrictions be implemented between Merilia and Tribekistan.

Much like earlier in the year where the 'Mystery of the small Island', caused by the incompetent actions of the Tribekistani government and authorities, The Ulstome Government must once again must follow the actions of the Merilian Government and condemn Tribekistan after the news of its Military and Authorities continues incompetence as shown with the misfiring of a short-ranged anti-air launcher during routine maintenance which demonstrates significant carelessness and a lack of concern for the safety and security of its people and its citizens. This has reinforced the strong action to Boycott Tribekistan goods. Furthermore the Boycott will now be considered an official embargo on all Tribekistan goods an services. Not only this but the Ulstome government will not allow any Tribekistan ships or aircraft no matter their size into its air and sea, a violation of this no matter how large or small will be considered an aggressive act of war by the Tribekistan onto Ulstome!

OOC: Your Area 3 Incident Report (which is canon for the time being until the Conclave are done with their review) went up at 1129AM and I didn't reply until 0138PM after which followed a series of edits of you changing the narrative and then removing the incident. Your Site 13 Incident Report was posted on 6 October with an edit on 11 October. You've had all this time (from 6 October to 24 October) to form a government response and instead you went with a news report which is what my condemnation was in response to (as was the response from BritishBayonet). And I should point out that you have these posts set in the past, twenty years going off of what you stated and based on the fact that the dates are blacked out as 19XX.

Friends, family, fellow Tribekistanians. Our great federation, union of 11 sovereign states has been attacked. The enemies from the past come back to haunt our future. We must be vigilant, and we must trust in God to protect us. What happened today was unexpected. Senior engineer Charles Demarco betrayed us. He sabotaged the air defense weapons and caused the death and destruction of hundreds of people. From this day, we will learn from this infiltration, and we will be more aware. For our closest friend could be our deadliest enemy.
 
OOC:dates in this thread are 19XX because until I figure out my nation’s backstory and that stuff, I don’t want it to interfere. However, these events most likely take place during the 1980’s. But I’m not sure

The conclave has decided that the post in question is to remain canon. After investigation and deliberation a consensus was reached, that the post in question is to remain canon. We have decided to pursue this decision due to the standards we have as a community and the rules surrounding metagaming. Tribekistan deliberately edited his posts afterwards in a manner designed to escape repercussions from the post in question. While we would usually tolerate this, Tribekistan failed to go through a normal route, instead abruptly editing his posts. Having done this numerous times, we have decided to maintain that this is canon.

Addressed To: The Government Head of the State of Tribekistan

It has come to my attention that a country within our humble region of Eras has revealed itself to be extremely unique. Unique in such a way that one cannot fathom the news being reported. After consulting with the appropriate Ministers of the Imperial Court in addition to my sister Regents, I have decided to make a decision in order to better serve the interests of my state, its citizens, and its foreign interests.

I am making the executive decision to halt any and all transactions short of the allowance of immigration of citizens from Tribekistan to Yukkira in order to alleviate the government's burden that it most clearly cannot adequately service. Until such a time where the government of Tribekistan might show even a modicum of a shred of responsibility being taken for the lives of its citizenry and their livelihoods, these sanctions shall remain in place. Immigration might be halted if those whom share the same views as that of the Regency of Yukkira express concerns not taken otherwise into consideration.

Even when in a state of severe civil unrest, the State of the Most Glorious Principalities of Yukkira show more competency and ability than that of Tribekistan. This is a travesty that should not be ignored.

Should the government of Tribekistan wish to parley with the State of Yukkira, the government of Tribekistan should do well to ensure that such a transaction is made with the utmost confidence in Tribekistan's own ability to cure itself of its blatant ineptness before even attempting such an endeavor. This is the least of the qualifying conditions needed to satisfy and show clear and genuine intent from the government of Tribekistan to not just the State of Yukkira, but to the world, that it is most indeed wishing to join us at the table that is the international stage of the region of Eras.

Earlier today, after returning from Area-3 with Carver, I found a set of letters on his bedside table.

Specialist John Carver’s First Letter:

“I haven’t been able to sleep since the incident happened. They still thing I can solve it. ‘Why were you the only one?’ They’d ask me, but I wouldn’t know the answer.”

We are nervous because John has been more and more aggressive with staff lately. Area Commander [redacted] has asked me to do a polygraph test on John, then bring him to Site-24 for further testing

Second and Third Letter Removed By Command

The letters had no address, nor a person to deliver to. In the 3rd letter, he talks about a friend that he plays cards with every day after dark. John might be suffering from Schizophrenia
