March was an eventful month for the Small Council of the Kingdom of Merridel. The position of the Minister of Culture was filled during this time. The new minister, Ema Sky, was appointed by His Majesty King Patrick Moltera on the 18th of March. They are tasked with the organization and management of all cultural and community building events other than roleplay They join the rest of the Small Council, assisting the Monarchs, in the daily running of the region.

Furthermore, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth Moltera announced the establishment of the Role-Playing Council of the Kingdom of Merridel. Placing herself at the head of the council, the council will be tasked with the management and advancement of all roleplay within the Kingdom. With a lengthy and stringent application process, we await to see who will rise up to the council positions.

Brave Knights of the Kingdom Hurrying to Bash the Fash

Since our last update, the Knights of Merridel (the regional military of the Kingdom of Merridel) have been very busy with recruitment and training. Yalkan’s Watch has been a buzzing frenzy of active, with a variety of guides on the basics of Military Gameplay being published by High Command. Furthermore, the Knights of Merridel participated in a supporting role in an anti-fascist operation, in cooperation with our friends and allies, in The Great Fascist Legion. It marks one of the our first operations under the current government. We hope it shall serve as a marker for future things to come.

Aside from the creation of the Role-Playing Council, which was mentioned above; the Kingdom of Merridel is currently in the process of a world-building convention. The convention was created in order to allow newer members to influence the region, while also allowing our community to define the the rules and regulations we will be working with. This convention allows citizens to suggest new races, mounts, and other role-playing topics for consideration by the community and will come to greatly define the realm of Merridel role-playing.


OTHER NEWS OF THE REALM​

  • Queen Elizabeth Moltera has released a dispatch detailing the ranks, rights, and responsibilities of the nobles of the Realm.
  • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has finished a review of the embassies of the Kingdom of Merridel.
 
Waves The RP Convention is an ongoing discussion to build the RP world of Merridel, from its flora and fuana, to religions, to magic and technology as well as a collection of rulings made by the RP Council of Merridel which work to make temporary rulings on what is canon until the community has a chance to vote on the issue as a whole.
