Hello! Boots here! I know, it's crazy, right? I've always said that I would have to be crazy to run for Justice, but well, looks like I just hit Crazy Central.

On a serious note, I do want to give the region an alternate choice to who to vote for for Justice this November. I've served as Speaker, Vice Delegate, Minister of Culture, Minister of Communications, and Minister of Foreign Affairs. I've also held many Deputy roles and currently serve as a member of the RolePlay Moderation team.

I'll go ahead and bite the bullet and address probably the first question that everyone will have. After basically abandoning the office of Speaker the last time, how can we know you actually are committed to serving the region and not just for a title? I'll admit, these last few months have been a tad rocky for me, and RL has really taken a toll on me. I made a rash call that I just need to cold turkey, and yeah, that's why I left the Speaker's Office. I will assure you, that will never happen again.

I don't have much direct experience with the Court, but I know the law very well, serving in all of its branches except for the Judicial branch, which I am running for now. I served as a Temporary Hearing Officer, and it did teach me a lot about the job. If elected, I will make sure that the cases brought before me will be interpreted fairly and will impact the region for the better.

Any other questions?

If I may, it appears you never fully answered your original question. You explained the reasoning behind your resignation as Speaker but did not explain the steps you have taken to assure us that this will not happen again. Would you mind expanding on this part of your answer?

Sorry for my delay, just getting in for the night. I've been very careful not to overload myself with work to do. For the past few months, I've kept my activity to just the Security Council and my duties as a RP Mod. I've looked over my schedule, and I will be able to perform to the best of my ability during this term. I'll be making sure to balance the workload between the Court, the Council, and the Moderation Team duties. If something changes between now and the end of the term, that will be communicated, and I'll do what is best for the Court in that event. I will not disappear this term.

What philosophy or line of thought do you have in regards to how you will actually interpret the law?
What are your views on TNP law overall?

TNP law is very brilliant actually. It’s very clear and concise, but allows for some flexibility in terms of power given to some of its offices such as executive power to the Delegate, and similar powers over the Assembly to the Speaker. I’ve seen this firsthand in my services to many Delegates, but most clearly during my eight month term serving as Vice Delegate with one of my dear friends, Lord Ravenclaw. I also saw this type of power in my term as Speaker, though the Acceptable Words List in my first term as Speaker backfired tremendously.

I tend to be very straightforward with my judgements on TNP law, after all, we can’t go off of what is not there. I recognize my duty to decide what the Constitution (and other documents we abide by) means and I don’t want to divert too much from the actual text. Now, that isn’t always possible, and when needed, the meaning of the law will be extended to the most logical conclusion.

EDIT: Fixing some typos.

Good luck with the results coming in tomorrow.
Thank you! I’m thankful to those who have voted for me thus far, and if elected, I hope to serve TNP well until March!
