I am Scorch and I have decided to run in the November 2017 Judicial Election. I do not have a plethora of legal experience but I am currently serving Darcania as Deupty Attorney General and have previously served as Minister of Communications and Minister of Home Affairs. I am running for Justice because I have been interested in TNP law since I joined the region and I have decided to act on that interest. I don't really have much else to add to my campaign platform but I am glad to answer any questions.

If elected, my main goals for the term would be to interpret the law to the best of my abilities, improving my knowledge on the law, and work with other Justices to try and improve the court. Candidates past and present have mentioned editing the court procedures, creating new templates, and reorganizing the legal records in order to improve the judicial system. I support these changes and I would be willing to work with my fellow Justices to implement them.

I think that my willingness to learn and interest in TNP law would have to be what sets me apart. I currently lack the experience that the other candidates have but I feel that I could still be an effective Justice if elected.

I would say I have gained legal experience in my past and current positions. Each position has enabled me to gain more legal knowledge and become more familiar with the law. When I first became Minister of Home Affairs, I made sure that I knew what a government official could and could not do under the law. These last two months while serving as Deputy Attorney General, I have been able to gain a further understanding of the law through talking with Darcania and my fellow Deputy Attorney Generals.
