The June General Election proved to be the dawn of a radical new age in regional politics, drastically reshaping the electoral landscape from previous terms. The Royal Traditionalist Party and the United National Alliance were by far the primary competitors, and one another’s greatest rivals, with both parties fielding 5 parliamentary candidates. Both the RTP and the UNA are relatively new parties, having been formed at some point during the previous two terms, and subsequently having risen rapidly to regional prominence, quickly stealing the spotlight from long-standing regional parties like the Conservatives and Pax Britannica.

Asce de Vitre - Royal Traditionalist Party (9.1%)
Dewiland - Royal Traditionalist Party (8.3%)
Marcarius Rahl - Royal Traditionalist Party (10.4%)
Edward Windsor - United National Alliance (11.2%)
Owen Bonaparte - United National Alliance (11.6%)
Veron Belfort - United National Alliance (9.5%)
Wilhelm von Churchill - Royal Traditionalist Party (10%)
Kade W. Vasentius - Royal Traditionalist Party (9.5%)
James Nassau - United National Alliance (9.5%)
Akillian Talleyrand - United National Alliance (10.8%)

With the final results tallied, the United National Alliance was able to secure a slight majority, allowing for the election of their leader, Owen Bonaparte, as Prime Minister, while the RTP took up its position as the Loyal Opposition for the term. Notably, 9 Constituencies were introduced in this Parliamentary term, along with 9 members of the House of Lords, allowing for one of the largest parliaments in the region’s history.

With his mandate secured by popular vote, and confirmed by both Houses of Parliament, Prime Minister Bonaparte set himself to the task of assembling a Cabinet and pursuing the objectives laid out during his campaign in June.
United With Owen:
Friends,

It’s good to be here today, and to see this great Party, this united party, determined and optimistic.

Look what we’ve achieved since our founding. Both experienced and brand-new members of our community flock towards the United National Alliance as a light of hope, a place of belonging and a chance of renewal. The kingdom of Great Britain is, as it has been for some time, in a place of choice. We make choices that define our region and its community not only to each other but to the wider array of Nation States. The Military and the Government can send completely different messages because that’s the system in which we find ourselves. Our RMB is a confusing place, often made up of simple chatter and left behind in the cultural phenomenon we present on the forum and our foreign office has slumped into a reactionary stance. These are the three corner stones a United people and a United party can fix.

Since our founding the membership of UNP has been brainstorming ways to continue growing our membership, activity and inclusion with both our direct community members and members of regions abroad. In this thought we came down to two, simple but effective solutions. First, a new elected official within the game side region, elected by the game side members. These are people often forgotten about here in KoGB and these and frankly the closest potential forum members we could hope for. The people already meeting the basic requirements for citizenship should feel welcome and know what nation states communities feel like.

Second, we have noticed the policy of KoGB has been one of reactive rather than proactive. The time of interregional cultural events has become one of the past. State visits have become something of the past and our community has become more enclosed because of it. The United National Alliance not only seeks to Unite the people of our community in KoGB but to Unite our peoples with those of our allies.
The current only method of doing so is using our military in joint operations. Now while we do have joint operations the military has never been used to its fullest potential.

The Government and military working side by side, towards one goal rather than setting their own agendas is crucial in developing a name for KoGB on the world stage. Now let me be clear. We do not stand to put the military under the control of parliament, nor answerable to the Government itself. These are separate bodies and must remain such. What we do propose however, is a sharing of information and representation for the Government in the military and military representation in the Government. Two positions to communicate the goals and the actions of both bodies that ensures a clear concise agenda with a clear-cut line of policy for all KoGB.

The United Alliance stands with you, and we stand for you.
Thank you all for your time!
God save the King, God save the country!
