Regional Platform

Proles
The regional government should keep a close eye on people using puppet nations. We believe that there should be some sort of system to detect this. This can be acheived by making a better security system when nations log on to the forum. (i'll elaborate about this more on another forum)

Internal Affairs
Everyone in the regional government should represent the people of TNP! No politican is to do things on their own liking, and should never abuse his or her power

Foreign Affairs
Our relationships with other regions is vital, and what makes TNP thrive. Wars, raiding and invasions should only be conducted when necsessary. For example if another reason poses a threat to TNP, or wants war, we shouldn't go to war already, but instead try neogatiating with them.

Defense and Foreign Intervention
War should be the last option, but we should also protect our selves from dangers of other regions or nations. The North Pacific Army, should be used only when at times of war, or when necessary. I believe we should have a bigger military.

Responsibilities
Member: To keep the idea of the party alive
The member is the most common rank, and is usually everyone else. They do not have the power to run the party, but they can promote it, advertise it, and volunteer with the chairman and vice.
Chairman: They are the leader of the party
The leader of the party is the party's overall head and make sures all of the party is in order. These people are elected through elections
Vice Chairman: Second in Line after Chairman, assists them, takes over if chairman is unable to complete term
The Vice Chairman, is the second in command and also has the same responsblities and duties as the chairman. The Vice also assists the chairmans, and completes a term if the current chairman cannot
General Secretary: Provides advice, is runs the party factbook
The Secretary is also an adviser, but is the one that run the party's factbook, ads, and appearance in TNP government

I'm sorry, but this makes no sense.

First of all, your platform. Elections ARE free and open to the public. No one does cheat; election fraud is against our laws. Super-PACs don't even work here; we only had one in the past and it was more of a tongue-in-cheek jokey thing. Money IS out of our politics; this is an online game. There's no bribery here. Everyone in the regional government DOES represent the people of TNP. I would argue that our politicians can, in fact, represent the people more than IRL politicians, because you can talk to them lickety-split. No politican can make political decisions on their own liking, and almost never abuses his or her power. It's in the Oath of Office. And if you break the Oath of Office, you can go to court. It's happened before.

Your ideology makes no sense as well. The people in TNP DO have the power. It's a democracy here. In fact, this is one of the most democratic regions in NationStates. Then there's this "National Pacificism" thing. There's already a name for that- enthusiasm. And finally "Pacific Socialism"? There's no international currency here. No one owns the "means of production" because there are no means of production. There are no "Virtual NationStates Factories" or something like that. This is an online game, not a real life country. I don't think you seem to get that.

That's okay, I am open to all kinds of criticism, constructive or not. And I will admit, this is something that does not make sense. It was rushed, and sloppy. I have edited it now, and tell me what you think.
 
The ideology is still stated as "Pacificracy", and the Internal Affairs and Defense parts have basically not changed at all. The Foreign Affairs part isn't a distinct platform at all. It's just common sense, and while I don't speak for the government, chances are, if they're smart, which they are, that's already what they'll do.

PS: Have you ever heard of the TNP Administration Team? They handle all that security stuff and make sure multi-ing isn't done.


This party just does not work.
