Mini Spamwars 2017! For Real!

Finally! Mini Spamwars 2017 is happening.

Spam is crazy, chaotic, and fun. Spam is quick and often. That's why Mini Spamwars is there. We've changed Ultimate Spamwars idea to make it quicker and last for less time. The idea is there will be one starting post to start a discussion that has to be on topic. Rather than posting exclamation marks and semicolons, this spam will (at least somewhat) make sense.

What's the incentive? Bragging rights and badges. 1st Place gets the MiniSpammer 2017 award, 2nd Place gets the Almost There...2017 award, and the spammer voted funniest wins the xD award.

This event will be held on a special discord server with a bot (courtesy of Darcania) counting the number of posts each person has.

Congratulations to Mysterious Player and TatiSerket8! Good job to all who participated. At this time, 1st and 2nd place are permitted to add the badges they've earned (found in the OP) to their signatures. The spammer voted funniest is yet to be announced as voting is still going on. The funniest spammer (winning the xD award) will be announced tomorrow at 10 PM EST. As this was a success, this event will hopefully take place next year as well.

Next time I promise the bot will be set up to keep a running tally that can be accessed by anybody.
