February and March in The North Pacific (TNP) has been hectic with many ministries changing leadership. These resignations and replacements were because of real life circumstances. While it is unfortunate to see talented individuals such as Bootsie, Syrixia and Scorch leave, their resignations opened way to equally talented people such as Tomb, Goyanes and Guy to replace them.
In Home affairs, Tomb, our current Vice delegate as well, is back as the minister once again, replacing the outgoing Scorch. He has been a great leader in TNP and we look forward to his return to the game soon. Tomb, having experience as a previous minister has already shown his skill in reviving the ministry after an activity deficit at the start of the term.
Secondly, in Foreign Affairs, Guy has replaced Bootsie, who was appointed to Cultural Affairs, but ultimately resigned for a break from the Cabinet, having been in various positions since 2015. Guy has appeared from inactiveness and taken over the reins of the Ministry. So far, he has filled some embassy vacancies, started up a mentoring program and concluded the trial runs for diplomatic teams. We look forward to his continued work in the ministry.
Finally, in Cultural Affairs, Goyanes has replaced Bootsie who replaced Syrixia (I know, it’s confusing). Syrixia has been a great cultural minister over the last 2 terms thus we hope for his return soon. Goyanes, a former deputy minister, and has already been working hard with the TNP-Balder Friendship Festival being a success.
We are saddened by the loss of Bootsie, Syrixia and Scorch from the cabinet and hope that they will be back in a few months - refreshed. It is comforting to know that they have been replaced by Tomb, Goyanes and Guy who have committed to their respective ministries and are putting in a great effort for the remainder of the term.
