There once was a great green plains, filled with grass as far as the eye can see, interspersed here and there with the occasional tree. It was sprawling, and bordered by lush, thick forests. A world separated from the outside.
Well, once.
A roaming nomad tribe broke through the wall. Caravans pulled by oxen, sheep being lead by shepherds, horses leading the way in the front. They caused quite the ruckus, sending many a bird flying.
"Stop!"
From a man came the cry. He rode the most magnificent horse of them all. He himself was quite unremarkable, save for his aura, for it was one that screamed leader.
He turned to his fellowmen, and spoke, "We have traveled far, following the prophecy of our soothsayer of years past. My father, and his father, and his father, and the many generations of fathers and sons have lead our people in search of this land. Now that we have found it, rejoice! Rejoice! For we shall prosper!"
A great cheer rose up from the weary travelers, and immediately the trappings of a great celebration appeared.
But that was a few centuries ago.
Now, Konar has progressed. It is currently lead by Bluie, the son of the son of the son of the... well, you get the idea. There are many towns spread all over the great sprawling plains, and a singe massive city called Esmwe (named after the current consort) near the spot where it was said the great Kogoron at broke through. Of course, the wall of trees have thinned out by now, but there a statue commemorating his success. All towns are connected by roads. The government is a kotdom, that is, they have the leader Bluie who makes most the decisions, yet he gives his consort and wife Esmwe some to answer for herself. There is a group, called the kot, which brings forth to the leader people who have proposed solutions to problems.
And then a break through the trees was made.
The people of Konar, who for so long were sheltered within the tree wall, have forgotten that there exists other civilizations, even though their own ancestors came from the outside.
Won't you join us in seeing what they make of their new and eccentric neighbors?
