Conservative Alex Calabrese won the Islish presidency once again this night, with a slim win in the national election over the Royal Party's nominee, Sophia Issiana. The former won the electoral vote 42-25, though it was not that straight forward. In reality, the election came down to one small town in Southwestern Victoria, Itipoetiare. Victoria was the only state not to have a winner and just one county was not counted; Mountain County and neither candidate had clinched the state yet. It turned out Calabrese won Victoria by just a few hundred votes, and recount attempts are already in talks in the Issiana camp. The Town of Itipoetiare announced it results at 11:34 tonight, the last town in the nation to do so. This win of about 300 votes in the town secured Victoria for Calabrese. Since Victoria was a winner take all state with 11 ElecVs and both candidates were within 9 electoral votes away, the winner of the state would secure the presidency, which Calabrese did, thanks to the people of Itipoetiare.
