Pretty sure the Pope needs to be either appointed by God/Flemingovia himself or voted in by the leaders of the religion, the Cardinals/Inquisitors.
 
There are already several Flemingovian church officials. I'm not sure if it's escaped your attention, but TNP is not the sole place which uses Flemingoviaism as part of its culture.
 
This heretical faith uses the Flemingovian name without my permission and without my sanction.
