Here you will find the history of Goyanes
Around 12 BC, the first Goyanean state was established, the Hysende Hej, which existed in central Hysende, on the eastern end of the bay, where they existed until about 105 BC. At that time they were conquered by the newly founded Nyhett Kingdom, which conquered most of northern Goyanes until the unification in 1487 AD. In the south, the Sørnen Hej was established sometime around 950 AD. It was the only organized state in the south at the time, founded by migrants from Nyhett. They conquered all the kingdoms in the south, until 1273, when they finally stopped and settled down. In 1480, the Emperor of Nyhett, Danneg III married the Queen of Sørnen, Annelise I, and in 1487, their first child was born, Danneg IV, thus officially unifying both nations. After that, the kingdom became known as the Empire of Goyanes. It comprised of 14 independent Fiefs that paid loyalty to the Grand Emperor. each had their own culture and traditions. On November 8, 1577, after 3 failed coups, Empress Annelise III came to an agreement with the belligerents and signed the Constituion Act of 1577. Since then the nation has been known as The Imperial Republic of Goyanes. In 1798, the Iqiob State rose in the southern tip of the unclaimed lands of Lørden. Their leader, Mijer Lengst, wanted to annex the IRG, thus they went to war. After 6 years of fighting, the IRG returned victorious, and has an established military presence there ever since. That area still is an unclaimed zone, but regular military patrols have been operational there since 1804.
The industrial revolution started up around 1800, with steam power being the primary form of power. Around 1805 electricity was harnessed for use in the form of a extremely primitive battery. By 1835, the battery was invented in a much more practical, but still primitive format. Around 1880, the gasoline automobile was invented, a major revolution in transport history. By the year 2016, the car was already an advanced transportation system. In 1899, the first airplane flew, at Norberg Town, Kira, Goyanes. By the year 1930, commercial airlines were connecting Goyanes with the world, but at a very slow pace. In 1954, the first practical analog computer was developed, and by the year 2000, the digital computer was a staple in almost every home. By 2016, Goyanes had become an IT powerhouse, pruducing coputers on a huge scale. Goyanes is now at the forefront of regional trade, and has one of the highest GDP's in the world.

Goyanes is a parliamentary democracy with a monarchy pegged on to it. This system much resembles the current sytem in the United Kingdom. The legislative branch of government is comprised in a bicameral fashion. There is the House of Lords, which is the upper house, and the House of Commons, which is the lower house. All members of the legislature are elected officials. They share power and when laws are created in one house, they must be approved by the other house. Once approved, the law will go to the Grand Emperor, who has to give final approval to the law. The head of government is the Prime Minister, who is currently Jon Norberg, PM, MP for Naderfjord 1. The Speaker of the House of Commons is Anna Erdmann, SHC, MP for Baerstrent. The Speaker of the House of Lords is Anders Nergof, SHL, MHL for Nyhett. The judicial branch is called the Imperial Supreme Court. They are a high court that decides the fairness of laws and in extreme cases, does a full trial
There are 14 autonomous provinces in Goyanes. Each one of them has a unicameral legislature, called The Senate. They decide laws and such, and when a law is decided upon, the law is sent to the Premier's office who gives the final say in the law. The Premier is an elected official along with the Senate. Each province has a Duke/Duchess or Grand Duke/Duchess. This title is for representatives of the Imperial House to a provincial government. When they are a member of the royal family, they are given the title of Grand Duke/Duchess, when they are not a member of the royal family, they are called just Duke/Duchess. The judicial branch of a province is the Provincial Supreme Court. They are a high court that decides the fairness of laws and in extreme cases, does a full trial.

Goyanes has two main networks of railways. First, there is the high-speed system. This network goes through most of the major cities in goyanes, as well as provincial capitals. It is quick, affordable, safe, and reliable. The fleet is comprised completely of the E5 series of trainset, with a top speed of 320 kph. Trains have a 97% on time rate, and the track and equipment is maintained every day.
The second network is the low-speed network. This network visits all the major areas as well as the rural areas. This network carries freight trains and slow speed passenger trains. This network is limited to 120 kph.
Most major cities have a metro or subway system that connects most areas of the city, and if not there is usually a substantial bus network in that city to supplement that system.
