THE AURORA LEAGUE: Announcements, Information, and Registration

Welcome everyone to the first iteration of the Aurora League, Eras' newest ice hockey league. Headquartered in the beautiful Baleine Kingdom, the league will consist of nations from across the entirety of Eras. The inaugural season shall consist of one division of eight teams. Once the season is over, the teams will move on to play for the Aurora Cup. Any Eras national team that wishes to participate must complete the following form to be eligible for the League. A league schedule will be up once the eight slots are filled.

We would like to welcome the Sierran National Team and the Kaschovian Sharks to the Aurora League! Three of the eight inaugural spots have been filled, leaving five for other nations wishing to compete.

Operators Note: One part of the application field was forgotten when the original post was posted. There is now a Home Arena field that needs to be filled out by participants when applying. If Sierra and Kasch would please add this to their applications, we'd be grateful.

Manager: "a person in charge of the activities, tactics, and training of a sports team."

In other words, the trainer actively trains the players, whereas the manager oversees the training, and other activities, of the team.

In terms of American sports, the General Manager is the person responsible for hiring and firing personnel, overseeing the coaches and scouting and any number of other non-coaching roles, like negotiating contracts or sponsorships.

The Head Coach is responsible for tactical decisions, training, picking starting line-ups etc etc.
