The Supreme Chancellor of the Grand Parliamentary Republic of Kaschovia, Mattheus Kurgkrovski, currently on an official visit to Lisledo, in a meeting with his Lorbankian counterpart President Leslie Burves of Lorbank, with the aim to strengthen Kaschovia-Lorbank ties in financial and sports issues.
The meeting between the two countries delegations lasted for about 50 minutes more than scheduled, while according to sources, the Kaschovian Chancellor expressed his appreciation for Lorbank, regarding the Northern Cup 2017 Qualification sign up and discussed ways to enrich bilateral economic cooperation. Upon an initiative on behalf of the Lorbankian President, more consultations will take place in the future in order to strengthen the two countries bilateral relations in the fields of business and sports.
The Chancellor arrived at the Lorbankian airport in Drard at 11 AM on 10th of August 2016. The Lorbankian President, Leslie Burves and the Prime Minister, Charles Taylor greeted him. Then there was a short news conference, where the media came to know the reason of the visit.
Limousine convoy arrived to transport the leaders from Drard to the capital, Lisledo. The route is 42 kilometres.
After it the Chancellor and President moved to the Presidential Palace. At the entrance of the palace, media made photos about the two leaders' handshake.
In the palace, firstly there was a public conversation between them. They told each other what is happening in their country at the moment. After it they moved to the conference room where a closed door negotiation held between the two leaders, however at the beginning of the negotiations, the press could made photos.
After the negotiations President Burves made a speech in the conference room.
One topic of his speech was the region's security policy. He described and then explained the current situation. At his presentation he mentioned the current wars in the North Pacific too.
After it he spoke about the ways how could Kaschovian-Lorbankian relations could be improved. He said that building a motorway and organising the Northern Cup 2017 Qualification was the best method at the moment.
After the President, the Vice President had a speech. He spoke about it is essential for both countries to have an embassy in the others.
Later, Chancellor Kurgkrovski replied for the presentation; the security policy, the idea of the motorway, and the embassy. He said that his country is going to urge to accomplish some ideas.
After the conference the day ended with a dinner, where several Kaschovian and Lorbankian politicians attended. The toast was made by Mr. Burves and Julia Helberov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The next day, the politicians agreed that there will be a next Kasch-Lorbank meeting soon, but that is going to be in Kasch.
The oppostion parties in Lorbank published announcements about the meeting:
Politics can be Different (PD) thinks that President Burves betrayed Lorbank.
Lorbankian Justice Party (LJP) says almost the same: "This meeting was a new step in the exploitation of our country".
Other parties remained silent.
The answer of the ruling party, Resistance Party (RP) announced that: "Opposed to you, we are building a society, which from everybody can profit."
