Nations Have Fallen

New Haven

TNPer
There's always been a pattern within history, no matter how great or large a country is, no matter what a nation does to try to survive, it willfalll, and leave the future uncertain.

This is the exact situation that happened to the east of New Haven America, a once great power has crumbled, leaving nothing in it's place, and NHA, being to generous nation that it is (/s), has decided to explore the ruins and lay new claim to the area.

Just recently, The Seren has approved a scouting/diplomatic team to go into the area east of NHA to make an excursion into the area, these will be presented here now.

...a once great power has crumbled, leaving nothing in it's place...
Speaking as an admittedly casual student of archaeology, that has never happened outside fiction. Even if a nation somehow fell apart the people would still be there, just organized into different groups. They may eventually move on and abandon particular cities or even a significant areas, but they just don't vanish. What happens most often is that, like the Roman Empire or China, the old political and cultural system just changes into something else.

When you knock down a Lego castle, the bricks don't go away. That's what nations and civilizations are like.

^ Very true, with the notable exception being if the civilization was attacked by aliens with a dozen neutron bombs.
