The original purpose of the Malta District was to serve as a diplomatic headquarters for foreign nations within the Cetian District of Kialga-Lourti. However, with the extraction of all Kialgan personnel and the return of the ambassadors to their home nations, the District has since fallen into a quiet state. Baleish crews maintain the structure and integrity of the District, but the buildings lack the life they once held under Minister Michael Talley and President William Snyders.

I approach you all today to announce the reopening of the Malta District, and to formerly welcome any and all ambassadors to the Kingdom of Baleine. This revitalization effort gives us a great chance to bring together foreign parties within the Kingdom, and opens doors for cultural exchanges among all parties involved. Her Highness Queen Annora has given the full go on this initiative and joins with the Foreign Affairs Ministry to welcome all ambassadors from abroad.

Unfortunately, with the fall of Kialga-Lourti's power within Baleine, all previous embassy records have been lost. Should a nation have held an embassy within Kialga-Lourti via Cetus, you will need to reapply and await acceptance once more.

Spoiler: Need to Know Before Applying

Ambassadors sent to Baleine will be allowed slight Diplomatic Immunity, including:

• Not being arrested or detained; deportation is possible
• Not having the residence searched
• Not being prosecuted

Should an ambassador act in a way deemed unfit by the government of Baleine, the ambassador and accompanying staff will be deported. Should this happen, the embassy the ambassador was occupying will be closed until the providing nation wishes to provide another ambassador to fill the position. Ambassadors that are deported will not be allowed within Baleine again.

Baleine allows only fifteen (15) staff to be brought into the country. Staff will be assigned from native Balein to assist if requested. Fifteen (15) members of the Baleish Guard will be provided to each ambassador as protection. Outside security details will be restricted to thirty (30) personnel. These security personnel shall be allowed no more than two (2) pistols, one (1) shotgun, and one (1) submachine gun.

A service of one (1) SUV will be provided to the ambassador. A typical convoy will consist of the chosen vehicle and up to four (4) other vehicles for staff.
