Description: The Security Council,

Recognizing that Eternal Scholars was forcefully invaded by Nazi and Fascist forces lead by Nazi Europa,

Understanding that prior to this invasion, Eternal Scholars was a peaceful region led by a native World Assembly Delegate,

Appalled by Nazi Europa's closure of native embassies, forceful construction of embassies with other Fascist regions, and intent to, as evidenced by its numerous trophy regions, remove all natives and re-create the region in their own image,

Noting the recent implementation of hidden border control measures, unknown to natives, which have prevented the free passage of nations into the region,

Stressing the importance of regions and nations working as a unified world against forces such as Nazi Europa,

Believing that only Security Council intervention can at this point enable for the region to be freed from its oppressors,

Hereby Liberates Eternal Scholars.

MoWAA Recommendation

This seems pretty straight forward. Nazis are bad. Nazis raiding regions and (potentially) attempting to refound them is also bad. As a result, we recommend a vote in favor of this Liberation.
 
Unless you're like Mike and you vote against every single Liberation I see absolutely no reason not to support this proposal.

Essentially this. I don't quite see the point of liberations, so yea. I've talked slightly about it on the RMB but won't go into full detail in the voting thread.

While I'm not anti-Security Council, I am very anti-Liberation. Liberation proposals are nonsense. You lost trying to liberate/defend a region through the gameplay side, why waste the WA's time trying to "liberate" a region that can and will still be held?

If a region is passworded (and the password is securely held) it is impossible to liberate it.

Certainly it's possible to hold an unpassworded region, it's done all the time. A passworded region, however, can be held with an arbitrarily small force. A passworded region can be emptied without losing control of it, at a time of choice by the occupying force.

A passworded region can be refounded, making possession permanently uncontestable.
