A Message from Bootsie:

Surprise, I'm not running for Delegate! I am, however, running with who I believe you should vote for in this election, Lord Ravenclaw. If you have not read his campaign, you can find his campaign here. As Raven previously stated, a lot has happened since he and I took our oaths back in January. RL has thrown everything at me, and at times, I was unsure of if I could make it through this term. However, working alongside Raven, I have grown in my duty as Vice Delegate and I'm looking forward to what this term has in store.

This term, Raven and I have both broken the status quo on what is expected from the endorsement counts for TNP's Delegate and Vice Delegate, and have reached counts that have not been reached in over a decade. With that being said, with the raising of our counts, I am expecting this term to get our lower Security Councillors to a minimum of 700 endorsements, and our higher Security Councillors to around 900 endorsements, as it is imperative that they can assume the Delegacy or Vice Delegacy at any point, and that is very difficult if they are too far from my count.

To achieve such high endorsement counts on our Security Council, I will be asking the Security Council to update their endotarting telegrams to not only ask the nation to endorse the sender, but the Delegate, Vice Delegate, and the rest of the Security Council as well. I've been trying this system with my telegrams in the latter part of the term, and in my opinion, it has been very helpful to the lower count SC members. This also helps decrease the number of endotarting telegrams that a nation receives, as once a nation endorses a SC member, they no longer appear on the ".nne" (nations not endorsing) command by FriarTuck.

Another improvement I want to make this term is doing the World Assembly Development Program Awards on time, and making sure to telegram the region soon after. This term, I have not had much time to sit down and create the telegram templates needed after the WADP Awards, and I plan to do that this term, as with the help of r3naissanc3r, I telegrammed the entire list of nations that I needed to, and it did help raise the endorsements of myself and the SC.

Finally, it is in my duties as Vice Delegate to ensure the security of our beloved region is upheld, and that requires me to make the security checks of our incoming citizens both quickly, and accurately, and though I believe I did them well this term, I can and will commit to making them in a more timely manner and prevent those who are at risk from entering our region. I also do plan to assist Raven in the Executive, as I have been doing this term, and do accept becoming his Chief of Staff.

I will also commit to working with the Security Council and the Executive Council to improve the framework of the RMB Guardians, as that is something I am very passionate about, and can potentially lessen the RMB workload of both Raven and myself.

This term shall be a good one, and I hope, if you have any questions of me, that you ask them below! Progress is onward, and I'm totally looking forward to four more months, ya'll!

With gratitude,

Would you like to see the Security Council work on anything besides their endorsement counts? How do you feel about the size of the security council?

As Vice Delegate, how do you feel you were when it comes to the regularity of your security checks?

<3 Thank you for how hard you worked this term.

The Security Council has not been the most active this term, so I do think if we could just boost activity and communicate to the applicants what is going on with their applications, we can have a successful term. Now, just looking on my own observations, and not any numbers that the members of the Council may have, but I think it may be time to increase the Security Council endorsement count to around 400-500. I'd, of course, talk with my Council on it first, but I think that with the Delegate increasing 1000 endorsements, it is essential we have members relatively close to the count.

I'll be honest with you Raven, I have not been as well with checks as I would've liked this term. With school, work, and TNP, three days flies by pretty quickly. I will say that there is no one that exempted my check that I would not have passed, and as school subsides in five days, I will be more active to do checks as I'd like them.

Thank you for your questions, and break a leg, good pal.
