Today the Plembobrian National Party and the Libertarians are pleased to announce that we have merged into a single political party, the Liberal Alliance.
The Liberal Alliance is a new kind of party. We desire an open society based on democracy, equal opportunity, and personal responsibility.
We'll to accomplish this by devolving more power to provincial assemblies, where legislators are closer to the people. We'll reduce the tax burdens on small businesses and middle class families. We'll eliminate the financial barriers that make it harder from businesses to hire disadvantaged individuals. And we'll reform our welfare system to cut out waste, fraud, and abuse, while ensuring that Plembobrians who have slipped into poverty can secure the tools they need to survive and compete in an open economy. This will lift millions out of poverty.
We'll protect families, regardless of their parental structure, and incentivize child-bearing through an improved tax credit system. We'll use market incentives to improve our family leave program at less expense to taxpayers.
We'll privatize our ailing healthcare system, while providing minimum coverage for people who can't afford their own, drastically reducing taxpayer costs. We'll also eliminate the RDP's 5% (and proposed 6%) secondary healthcare income tax, letting people make the healthcare decisions that are right for them in a private, but regulated healthcare marketplace.
We will foster relations with all nations through trade and diplomacy. We'll stay out of foreign conflicts. We'll strengthen our position in the NPTO, and improve our Novrith and DU allies, but we won't be Imperium's or any other nation's advocate in the halls where they do not wish to set foot.
We'll keep the Kingdom safe through a streamlined, well trained, and efficient armed force. We'll improve our intelligence and security apparatus to heighten our knowledge of active terrorist groups, and foil attacks like the one at the Palace before they happen.
The RDP and its various Socialist partners have for two long held an iron grip on Plembobria. It's time for new, intelligent, and informed leadership. Vote for the real leaders.
