Alicia, sitting aboard her Thomas Air flight, was playing Guslant Gladiators. Her character roamed through the arena with her magical book of spells as a troll roared in the center of the arena. "This guy will be easy, I'll use his height as my advantage," she said, before laughing with passion. Suddenly, the screen pinged with a call from May, and Alicia swiped the call to the right of the screen, so she could see both May's face and the game. "Alicia, how are you?", asked Leng. "Bored, I mean, I've been playing Guslant Gladiators, but I've been pretty alone since I took off," she replied to May. "What? Did you forget me?", barked Ayuda from the GusTab. "Sorry grumpy, next time, speak up and you'll be heard," argued Alicia, feeling her bot was being rude. "Fine then, next time I'll interrupt your game," replied Ayuda, sassily. "Shut up," replied Alicia, as Ayuda turned off. "Alicia, you've done the impossible, you've done great things for our country, and now we ask once again that you represent the Jewel again as the ambassador to Plembobria. In just a few minutes, you'll be touching down in Cummings, which, if you don't remember, held the government of the Union of Guslantis-In-Exile during the coup, and Ayuda has arranged for transportation from Cummings, to the embassy in Rethel. If you need any help with the diplomatic protocol, remember you can contact Abigail on the GusNet contact system, she is located under...," began May before the pilot announced they were beginning their descent. "Sorry May, I've got to turn you off," said Alicia, relieved that she was saved by the pilot from a lecture. "I'll contact you when I get to the embassy, until then, see you later!" Alicia turned off the GusTab and the airplane soon landed in Cummings.

After the plane landed, it taxied, and the door opened. Alicia, wearing a blue dress and matching heels, descended the steps of the airplane. She collected her luggage, and after stowing away her GusTab, passed through the terminal and exited the airport. She stood at the exit and looked around for the transportation that was supposed to be waiting for her. "Ayuda, what was the car that you arranged for me supposed to look like?", she asked, waiting for his answer. "What do you mean 'I didn't set it up?' I trained you better than that Ayuda Burns!", she yelled into her Bluetooth speaker. "Fine, I'll find my own way to Rethel, you pain in the bolt!", she yelled, hanging up on her ignorant bot. She proceeded to walk in her heels all the way to Rethel.

Minutes later, Alicia, tired from walking in her high heels, threw down her luggage in anger and stomped once with her heels. She screamed in pain as she ripped off her pearl necklace and threw it in the nearest bush. She then grabbed the side of her head and screamed again. She had heard Abigail speak of diplomatic missions, but never had she heard that transportation was not going to be provided and that she'd be all alone. That's how she felt: all alone. She placed her hands over her mouth and began to sob. It was like when she was in high school, except, not even Ayuda was with her now.

Alec Durand came walking down the sidewalk with two campaign assistants. He was handing out flyers. An election was about to be called, and his constituency had been redrawn. Campaigning was important this time around. He wasn't ambassador to the NPTO anymore. He was a member of Parliament, a front-bencher at that. He had the leadership in his sights. Perhaps the office of PM.

At this moment he noticed the former chancellor weeping.

"Alicia? What are you doing in the middle of the street? Where are you headed?"

As soon as Alicia heard a voice, she turned. "I'm dearly sorry, just going to Rethel to--shit," she said, reacting to seeing Alec. "I mean, I'm not going to the bathroom! Gosh that came out wrong. I'm not one of those weird people who exactly tells everyone what they're doing in the--," she continued. Shut up Alicia. "I'm sorry, I'm making a fool of myself. I don't mean to bother. I just am on my way to the Guslant Embassy. I can tell you're busy, I'll just take my bags and leave," she said, trying to avoid looking at Alec.

The bag wouldn't budge from the bush. Alicia grunted and pulled, trying to detach the bag from the bush. "Could this, get any worse?", she asked, panting heavily. She pulled really hard, and suddenly, the bag was pulled out of the bush, sending Alicia falling backwards toward Alec.
