National Sonacism(also known as Sonacism) is an ideology that takes a Statist, Revolutionary-Nationalist, Progressive, Socialist, Proletarian, Producerist, and Secular stance on issues. The National Sonacists adhere to a unique form of Market Socialism. There is the Nationalization of Key Industries and Essential Services (Ex: Railways, Infrastructure, Petroleum Industry, Natural Resources and Mining, Land, Energy sector and all basic utilities, water industry, firearms industry, heavy industry, etc). These State-owned sectors are meant to serve both the State and Community interests, as a portion of their profits are redistributed to the people as a social dividend. As well as being used to help pay for other social programs to help and serve the community. While also striving to make sure the State services are expertly managed, as well as being available and affordable to all citizens. In the secondary economic sectors regular private industries and business cooperatives are permitted and encouraged. Private property is permitted in non-key secondary sectors of the economy on the condition that it is not used unethically, and illegal activities and exploitation of workers are not attempted. The cooperatives are usually established when breaking up a private monopoly, or when a private corporation is guilty of corrupt practices and/or mistreatment of it's workers. The State then helps to reconvert the monopoly or business for the formerly exploited workers as a cooperative(s). Though the State also incentivizes individual initiative to create cooperatives via subsidies, tax credits, loans, etc. For State enterprises and non-coop private enterprises, there is to be a law mandating co-determination and profit sharing for workers in such companies. Worker representatives must be allowed to hold seats on the boards of non-coop companies employing over 500 people. Depending on the size of the company and number of employees, the number of workers representatives range from one third to nearly half. Since there is mandatory profit sharing the workplace, companies when they mature and grow become either employee owned corporations or workers cooperatives. All companies must allow works councils at the local shop floor level. Therefore, the system adheres to the principles of Socialism, having the commanding heights and essential services of the economy acting in service to the community, rather than individual or mere profit motive. Along with upholding the principles of workplace democracy through promoting the development of coops, corporate accountability, mandatory co-determination and profit sharing. While upholding Market principles in which the State tries to limit most economic planning to the macro level rather than micro, and greater use of indicative planning rather than directive. Allowing State Owned Companies autonomy in responding to market demands, along with secondary economic sectors being run by non-state actors in a market economy. Although greater directive and indicative planning may be used when deemed necessary (ex: lower cost of goods and services, redirect investment to areas of priority, boost economic growth and infrastructure development, improve quality of goods and services, etc). Thereby having a system that is both Market and Socialist in principle.
National Sonacism is an ideology advocating Statism. Believing the State has a paternalistic role in overseeing the well-being, liberty, unity, happiness, and safety of both the community and the individual, and must do whatever it can to best achieve this end. As well as discouraging and punishing those whose actions unjustly harm both the community and individual. Seeing the state to be an tool and entity independent of class allegiances and as an instrument of justice that is therefore essential for the achievement of both individual and social justice and social equality.
The National Sonacists believe that what best advances a Nation are traditions based on pragmatism, realism, technology, and rational thought. Hence they support Progressivism. Following the 5 key premises of the idea of Progress: The value of the past, nobility of Western civilization, worth of economic/technological growth, scientific/scholarly knowledge obtained through reason and learning must supersede faith, and the intrinsic importance and worth of life on Earth. Believing that advances in science, technology, economic development, and social organization can improve the human condition.
National Sonacism, in line with it's Progressive mindset, advocates the idea of Revolutionism. Revolutionism calls for the country to replace the traditional institutions and concepts that have become outdated and can no longer serve community interests, with more modern institutions and concepts that can continue to fulfill this function. Modeling ones institutions from those of the most modernized, progressive and advanced societies and ideals, while also adding native traits and patterns that can successfully adapt them to the ones culture. This principle advocates the need for fundamental social change through revolution as a strategy to achieve a modernized and progressive society. In this sense there is no possibility of return to the old systems because they have been deemed backward.
The National Sonacists believe a community is better off when it's cultural values and ideals are based on Progressive and Revolutionist modes of thinking. Along with the idea that the more stable community and country, is where similar values are shared amongst the people. Believing that it is best to promote a community where the people share common values and ideals to heart. Also where there are no excessive disparities in wealth and opportunity. Thereby wishing to promote cultural unity as well as social equality amongst the people. Hence National Sonacism is a form of Left-wing nationalism.
National Sonacists advocate Social Justice. Supporting an economic policy centered on Social Justice. Believing all citizens should have access to education, health care, a social safety net, labor rights, a broad system of public services, progressive taxation and regulation of markets, to ensure fair distribution of wealth, equal opportunity, no gross inequality of outcome and no gross social injustice.
The National Sonacists adhere to Economic Nationalism, believing that if a Nation is to stay strong, it must be able to rely on itself sufficiently. Hence supporting protectionist measures towards local businesses to this end. As well as holding a Economic Nationalist view that is Linkproducerist. Believing that the ordinary worker, small businessman, and entrepreneur must work together to stop the parasitical elements of society. Taking an inflexible stance against those who abuse their positions of power to take away from those who having little, who exploit their workers and use unethical business practices to drive out other businesses, and against the criminal elements of the social structure that seek to exploit, con, maraud, and destroy the lives of others purely for their own benefit. With the National Sonacists stance of favor towards the ordinary worker and support of Social Justice, they identify their ideal for a country to be that of an Proletarian nation.
The National Sonacists support the separation of Church and State. Believing that the most stable society is one that allows free of religion for it's citizens. Where the government maintains neutrality on Religious matters and does not favor a particular religion. Therefore, they are ardent supporters of a Secular society.
Sonacist-Republicanism: The Government System under National Sonacism is known as "Sonacist-Republicanism". Sonacist Republicanism is a Governmental System that combines elements of an Traditional Republican system with Constitutionalism, Single Party State, and Meritocracy. The 4 key concepts of Sonacist-Republicanism are maintaining political unity and ideological purity, maintaining a system where the government is run by basis of merit to ensure efficiency, maintaining a system where the government is dynamic and in touch with the populace, and maintaining a system of checks and balances to prevent corruption and inefficiency. The Government is divided into four branches: Judicial, Meritocratic, Executive, and Legislative:
Judicial Branch: The Government branch which interprets the law. It ensures rigid adherence to the constitution by all other government members and acts as the body to root out corruption. By acting in a prosecutor capacity and controlling a government agency with the purpose of tracking and investigating possible corruption in other government sectors. They are organized into a High Court followed by more lower government courts. The Judiciary that deals with administrative law are periodically changed and their successors are appointed by a randomly selected panel of experts of administrative law.
Meritocratic Branch: The Government branch that ensures the competency and proper work ethic in the Legislature and Executive branches and other government agencies. It makes sure to inspect and preapprove would be political candidates or those who wish to work for the government based on good work ethic, qualifications, health, etc. But also takes on an advisory and assisting to the other governing branches and government workers. This branch is to be composed of a national body followed by sub-subsidiary committees. The appointment of the Meritocratic branch is as follows; the appointees are selected by a panel formed from the Judiciary and preceding office holders in the Meritocratic branch. They are picked on the basis of qualifications in a specific field, reflecting different ministries and parts of the government, in order to be able to assess competence in such a field: (Qualified and Experienced in Law, Economy, Business, Defense, etc.). Members of the branch are periodically changed. To help them keep track of competence, they control a government agency with the purpose of investigating the performance of state sectors.
Executive Branch: Composed of an Head of State and the Governmental Departments. The role of the executive is to approve proposed laws and enforce the laws as written by the legislative branch and interpreted by the judiciary. There are to be periodic inspections of the Governmental Departments by the Meritocratic branch, to ensure competency and efficiency.
Legislative Branch: The branch that approves laws. The Legislature is made up of popularly elected Representatives. Candidates who run must be rank and file party members of the National Sonacist Party, with the opportunity to compete against each other to win the election. They're required to be inspected and approved by the Judiciary Branch and the Meritocratic Branch in order to run. Candidates must also be residents who have lived in the area for several years and be required to live in the area they represent for their entire term in office. In order to make sure outsiders aren't forced on people and that the Representative-to-be actually have the well being of the place they represent to heart with an understanding of how it works. Representatives are liable to accountability for crimes of corruption by the Judicial branch and charges of incompetence and dismissal by the Meritocratic branch.
Single Party State: There is to be one legally recognized party in the government, the party is to follow the ideology of National Sonacism. The purpose of an single party is to best ensure ideological purity is maintained and avoid the partisan gridlock and inefficiency of Liberal Democracies. Therefore holding multi-party politics to be both divisive and destructive. It is dismisses modern-day democracies, such as Liberal Democracy, as nothing more than an "sham" and "without principle". Seeing them as systems playing on cheap popularity, rather than genuine care for constituents needs, nor caring for the competence and dedication the Representatives hold for the area they supposedly represent.
Constitutionalism: This System of Government is to have an Constitution to ensure that the rights of all citizens are held sacrosanct and that the rule of laws prevails, even over those who enforce it. Citizens are to entitled to civil rights that guarantee them freedom of speech and expression, freedom of assembly, life, pursuit of happiness, health, education, privacy, liberty, and the principles enshrined in the ideology of National Sonacism. To amend the Constitution the amendment proposal must be approved by an 2/3 majority by the national bodies of the Judiciary and Legislative Branches, and the Head of State.
