A War in the Shadows
For years, the Phra Dong Triad and the K'ter Family, two of the biggest crime syndicates on Eras, have been at peace, content to stay clear of each other as they went about their respective businesses. But now, tensions are mounting and it is no longer a question of if, but when war will break out between the two.
It was nearing midnight in Ko'lon. Sphan K'ter leaned back in his chair, massaging his brow as he turned and looked out over the city. He was definitely more tired than usual. Noting this, he thought to himself, I suppose it's only natural. I am getting up there. Despite the relatively late hours, the city was thriving as the night life began waking up, lighting up the party districts with colorful lights. Sighing to himself, he turned back, pushing up from his desk and gathering his papers. Despite his exhaustion, he still had matters that could not be ignored. Nodding to his secretary as he left his office, he stepped into the elevator, heading down to the garage. The elevator doors opened once again, and a familiar face greeted him. It was Khiara Algen, the Grand Warden and one of his most trusted associates. If only she, the highest judicial authority in the nation, knew about his other life. Giving a cursory, but friendly, greeting to each other, he turned back to the window of the elevator, gazing out as they rode down in silence. Once they reached the garage, they said their goodbyes, and headed towards their separate cars.
Driving out of the garage, Sphan sighed once again. He glanced out the windows of the car, over the bright and lively streets as he rode by in silence. After a couple minutes, he arrived at his destination, a large warehouse. Such a stereotypical place for the meeting with his associates.
Right now I'm pretty tired and want to play some Warframe, so I'll continue this sometime tomorrow. Syrix, feel free to post the PDT's initial actions or an introduction or something. This is mainly exposition, there's not gonna be much in the way of stuff you would need to pay attention to.
