About Taijitu? It's a good place. We're about a year into the Glorious Revolution and a citizen's democracy. Basically the Delegate is a sort of public custodian while the Ecclesia (legislator) runs the region. With every citizen automatically having a voice.
It's actually a very elegant solution. Taijitu is very tight-knit in many ways, and this sort of ensures that we're able to have a voice in regional affairs.

A semi-direct democracy is a good term for it. The Delegate (styled "Citizen Delegate") is more then ceremonial. It's more of an administrative position.

As for RP...it's going through a bit of a lull at the moment, but we're on the verge of picking things back up again. Taijitu has always had a very strong RP tradition.

How active is Taijitu region-wise? Is it as active as TNP? More? Less? I'm very active so such is quite arbitrary to my decision.

I think you'll be hard pressed to find many regions that compete with us activity wise

Taijitu is active, in it's own way. The RP community is similar to how Myroria/Funkadelia RP and can be slower than how many TNPers approach their RP.
