Sadakoyama News Release: General Distribution
As legitimate governance of McMasterdonia is in question and the nation's responsibility for the growing threat within its borders is being ignored, Sadakoyama is reaching out to the international community.
We are most eager to have a conversation with Archbishop Gunrei regarding our philosophical differences. A V10,000,000 honorarium is available for any person(s) who assists him in finding his way to our boundless hospitality, more or less intact. Should the Archbishop become possessed of a heretofore unsuspected sense of responsibility, remorse, or integrity and he presents himself to us of his own accord, we shall donate twice that amount to the well-being of the poor and suffering of Cape El, whom he claims to care for and serve, in his name.
In the event of unfortunate circumstances, the world being what it is, we could see our way clear to providing a condolence gift of V100,000 to the bearer of his erstwhile cranium, though we suspect the resulting parlay would be a bit one-sided.
Similar, albeit lesser, terms can be negotiated for those arranging appointments with verified members of Gunrei's inner circle.
Please and Thank you,
The Council of Sciencemasters.
Empire Sails To War
Florence Adelaide | L’Informateur De Saint-Cyr
In what the military is referring to as Operation Regency, the newly-formed Royal Lancerian Navy (RLN) Battlegroup I is setting sail for the shores of McMasterdonia today after the government declared war on King-Regent Albert last week after he refused the Lancerian ultimatum for abdication. For the first time since the Empire was united more than a decade ago, and for the first time ever against a nation not on Archlancer Island, sailors of the RLN and soldiers of the Royal Lancerian Army have left for war.
The 13-ship RLN Battlegroup I, led by Vice-Admiral Florian Allaire, includes aircraft carrier HES Huntress, land assault carrier HES Bonaventure, and guided missile cruiser HES Hood. Destroyers HES Masséna, HES Saxe, and HES Napier, frigates HES LeMat, HES Shaw, HES Bonneau, HES Moncey, and HES Havilland, and submarines HES Harceleur, and HES Chercheur make up the remainder of the group. As expected, the 1e Lancerian Expéditionnaire Légion is embarked upon the Bonaventure, and in support of the local civilian populace, the 1st Field Hospital Regiment is aboard the Huntress ready to assist with casualties in Intelligentsia upon arrival.
“We’re confident and we’re ready” Vice-Admiral Allaire said at a press conference before leaving, “We’ve got comprehensive battle plans in place to win this war in co-operation with Plembobrian forces and those that rally to Queen-Mother Amira and King Richard II’s cause.”
“When we’re done, Amira will sit on the throne.”

Two Myrorian politicians scuffled this month during heated debate over a proposed budget for the country's protectorate of the Eluvataran Isles, after personal insults were cast upon both parties.
The Myrorian parliament, called the Council of Great Houses, is made up of nobles appointed to the body every five years following a national census. Seats are apportioned according to the numbers of people reporting membership in each of three Great Houses as analyzed by an independent Apportionment Board, but the legislature is not elected. Great Houses are traditionally alliances of families united in fealty to one another, but today serve mainly as political parties.
The fisticuffs seen this month are uncommon for the Myrorian legislature, though the country continues to try to shed an image of itself as a nation ruled by violent, feuding aristocracy. The brawl was eventually stopped by the Council Police and Sergeant-at-Arms of the Council, but not before the two instigators and their supporters injured a clerk and bystander.
Reports suggest that the fight began during debate over a bill funding the government of the Commonwealth of the Eluvataran Isles. The queen of Myroria, called the "Sedera" in the native language, has veto rights over any law affecting the Commonwealth and has repeatedly refused to back any budget for the protectorate that does not increase funding towards customs. The legislatures of both the Commonwealth of the Eluvataran Isles and the All-House Union of Myroria are split by the issue, with independence lobbies in both the Isle and the Myrorian legislatures gaining increasing clout.
Eyewitnesses say that during formal debate Councillor Galam Llaresoth, a member of Great House Vrotrith and supporter of the Isles' independence lobby, called Councillor Nerethren Grotrith, a member of the conservative Great House Moomintroth, a "neoimperialist" and "reactionary". In response, Grotrith was said to have called Llaresoth a "dirty socialist" and "Eluvataran choir boy", the latter an epithet referring to the Isles' majority religion.
Following the end of formal debate, the two legislators continued to direct insults at each other, and eventually Llaresoth attacked Grotrith. Despite efforts from certain members of the Council to restrain the two foes, others joined in on the brawl and soon the Council Police and Sergeant-at-Arms had to be called into break up the fight. The following day's session was canceled to allow the scene to be cleaned up and perhaps to allow the involved Councillors time to cool down.
Councillor Marsilamat Quarrovth, a senior House Quarrovth official known to work closely with the queen, said that the incident was "unfortunate", but that it spoke to the "deeply-held beliefs of Myroria's Councillors" and the "strength of their personal convictions". He ultimately, however, took a side, saying that "House Quarrovth stands behind Her Majesty's thoughts on the budget situation and will continue to support the Sedera as the budget works its way through the Council and States General", referring in the latter to the Isles' own legislature.
Last month, the Sedera endorsed a version of the Isles' budget bill that increases the customs funding she was looking for, but this has been blocked by the independence and opposition caucus in the States General and opposed in the Council by Great House Vrotrith. The Sedera and Great Houses Quarrovth and Moomintroth believe the budget will institute greater accountability in exports from the Isles, especially in pharmaceuticals, while Great House Vrotrith and the opposition caucus in the States General finds it an unacceptable intrusion on the affairs of the Commonwealth.
The two sides may be forced to reconcile soon, lest the Commonwealth's government be forced to shut down due to lack of funding.
Syrixia Changes National Anthem
Parliament passes 2015 Anthem Act, after suggestion in Parliament to find a new anthem
SNN News | Posted: November 3, 2015
People singing the new anthem following the announcement of the vote to make it the anthem passed.
BALAMB, SYRIXIA- For the past two months, talks have been ongoing in Parliament to change Syrixia's anthem, as the old one, "The Eternal Sun", while rich in symbolism, was too short and had potential to be expanded upon. Finally, just today, Parliament has voted and the National Anthem of the Syrixian Empire has changed. Adapted from a poem written by Maharaja Rahul II while in exile in Plembobria, the National Anthem, Prajapati save the Empire, became Syrixia's national anthem on November 3rd, 2015. It symbolizes the will of the Syrixian people to keep going through any and all struggles, and praises Prajapati, praised in Rakanism as the one Lord of the Universe, as well as the Syrixian Emperor, symbol of the Syrixian state and its ceremonial figurehead.
The history of Syrixia and its national anthem goes all the way back to Magadha, the merchant's confederacy of antiquity. Different companies, when marching their forces into wars over farmland or other financial assets, would play unique songs tailored to them alone used to rally their forces and bring morale up. During the Chola era, when ancient Syrixia was united under the Kingdom of Chola, anthems were abandoned as there was no longer such conflict as seen in Magadha. However, after Chola split into three, the concept of the anthem was reborn as Jamadarh, Sailendra, and Rajpur fought it out. Instead of once again abandoning anthems, Akbar I of the newly-united Syrixian Empire commissioned the composition and lyricization of a new anthem for the Empire, "Jai Maharaja".
This new anthem served from the beginning of the Empire all the way up until 1947, although it underwent many changes and by the fall of the Empire to the communists it was completely different in notes and in most, but not all, of its lyrics from the original ancient anthem. The communists, wanting to erase all parts of the old Empire from the government, created a new anthem, called "Red Star March", which served until 1964, when it was replaced with the now taboo song "The Internationale". In 2006, with the revival of the Empire under a constitution and the ascendancy of Rajesh III to the revived Imperial throne, a new anthem was drafted by the composer Nahesh Taurani, hired by Parliament to find a new song Syrixia could rally under.
The song Nahesh proposed was "The Eternal Sun", which praised the Sun, still one of Syrixia's primary symbols, and the people of the nation. However, in recent years, the Rajpur Lion, Syrixia's national animal, has eclipsed the Sun as Syrixia's primary symbol. This, coupled with the previously mentioned room for expansion within the relatively short song, started talks about the creation of a new anthem. Now, this new anthem has been passed, and it will debut during the TNP Cup, during the opening ceremony, when the national anthems of every nation are sung. What this new anthem shows us above all else is that Syrixia is bound by truth and honor, as well as its ancient past and its bright future.

Chaotic order strikes Guslantis.
Guslantis, a jeweled nation within the southern quarter of the region, has been known for its dedication to peace. However, with hostile terrorists waiting in the wing for a mistake, the government was turned on its head. The announcement of GusNet: Sovereign, and its new upgrade of Ayuda, an infamous Krieg Clan performed a coup d'état on the government of the Jewel.
The coup, performed by the Krieg Clan under communist Vanessa Hoskins, involved using Ayuda's downtime to hack the system and take control of the Thomas Complex. "We planned to update the system during the midnight of Guslantis using the safe chambers of the Worley Research Center, however, Director Bennovio asked that we stay within the walls of the Complex to risk losing control over the bot during its transfer, however, none of us really knew he was going to hack the system along with the agents of the Krieg," said Ms. Alicia Burns, acting as Forewoman of the Union of Guslantis in Exile.
In an interview over GusNet with May Leng, who, along with a foreign ambassador, is locked in the Thomas Complex, she said this, "Ayuda is doing quite well to hold his ground versus a similarly built AI named Herir. While the two are competing for control of the complex, I know we have the complex from Vega's hands. Ayuda is running off of the new Sovereign programming, and though I do not have access to his records, he seems to be working well. Both him and I will be big assets to the liberation. We'll be here until the Monarchy is restored."
The Monarchy plans to have the government back in their hands in the coming days, and assures both its citizens and the citizens of Eras that the parties shall be justly tried in Carrotopolis after Leah's ascension to the throne. Herir, the AI bot of Ms. Hoskins will be taken to the Worley Research Center for dissection and could be useful in not only tracking down the rest of the Krieg Clan, but improving Ayuda's defenses. The Ministry of Information will keep you updated as it sees fit.
