The Phra Dong Triad, or PDT, is an organized crime organization based in Shei Ren, which operates globally and has tons of branches and members. Here, one may find basic information on the group.
That's a nice, expansive crime network. It was definitely a smart idea for the triad to cross through that area of the People's Republic as there are no major cities in that area; it's mostly rural and doesn't have a large population of police. I doubt they would be easily caught within our borders.
