The Song of the Lord; the Holy Book of the Rakanist Faith

This is the holy book of the Rakanist Faith. Rakanism is the acceptance of the relevation of Shri Prajapati, Lord of the Universe. Prajapati created the Universe, and created the systems to run it, and created those who inhabit it. His Glory embodies the whole of creation. This Book is his song. This Book is the Song of the Lord.

Entries will be put in periodically.

Chapter 1: Creation

Before this time began, there was no universe. The only thing was a vast dark void that existed but also did not, meaning an eternal night without end while all things were in limbo; nonexistent but also embodied by the Great Void.

A lone giant lotus flower floated in the endless void. The only thing that existed. Asleep within it lay Shri Prajapati, lord of all things. Everything was so silent and peaceful that Prajapati slept undisturbed. However, Prajapati was waking up. A humming sound began to tremble, Om. It grew and spread, filling the emptiness and throbbing with energy.

The night had ended, the great Prajapati awoke. As the darkness turned to white light, Prajapati's two eyes of sight were now open. Prajapati was not fully awake, however. He opened his mind's eye, the third eye of spirit and soul, and light of all colors emerged from Prajapati's third eye.

The colored light created all the elements, and the pure white light was focused into the stars, with the space in between becoming the inky black space it was before. Prajapati remained in the lotus flower, and after the universe was created, he began to meditate.

Prajapati focused his energy into a paradise that he would put at the crown of the universe. For it would have life, and it would also be his sandbox, a place for him to test things before using them elsewhere. As he meditated, the rocks that soared through space coarsed into a spherical lump of rock.

Then Prajapati split the lotus flower into three. He made one part into the Sun. He made another part into the water. He minced the final part of the flower into trillions of pieces, so small they were but atoms. As his energetic flow increased from the meditation, the atoms began to fuse until they made oxygen, a new, special element the colored lights did not create. For this element was blessed by the lotus flower of Prajapati. And it would create the sky, and fuel all life.

Planet Eras was bare, but it had an atmosphere. Prajapati knew what he needed to do next. He created grass, flowers, trees and plants of all kinds. To these he gave feeling. Next he created animals and the insects to live in the land. He made birds and many fish. To all these creatures he gave the sense of touch and smell.

He gave them the power to see, hear and move. The world was soon bristling with life and the air was filled with the sound of Prajapati's creation. And through the mists of time and Prajapati's guidance, the chosen species evolved. One who had more intelligence than the others, and who, through Prajapati's manipulation of his own systems, would evolve to resemble his own image. And this species was called the human.

And this "human" species would grow to take over the world.

Chapter 2: Arjuna

And so, one fateful day, Prajapati's plan came to fruition, and the first group of humans were created. And it was within this group that the firstborn human, Arjuna, came to be created.

Prajapati commanded the Trees and the Animals and the Men to prostrate before Arjuna. The Trees prostrated, and the Animals prostrated, for Adam was the First Man, and he was to be the leader of men on Eras.

However, the other people did not prostrate. They fought Prajapati's command as well as themselves, and they all vied for power. This was the Original Sin. The greatest sin. The sin of Betrayal, of Greed, and of Dishonor.

And Prajapati tasked Arjuna to fix this, embodying Arjuna with the Blessing of the One God. And so Arjuna rode in on his golden horse and the glory of Prajapati shone about him.

Yet still the people did not prostrate. Yet still the people did not see the glory of the One God, the Lord of the Universe. And then Arjuna spoke. His words were thunder, and his eyes glimmered with the light of Prajaiya, the Celestial Domain of the One God.

And Arjuna said, "Good people who cometh from the bosom of the One God and who hath been blessed with Intelligence over the Plants and the Animals, and who are a result of centuries of systematic success, why now do you not prostrate against that who created you?"

And the people could not reply, for they did not know how. They could not speak their minds without showing their sinfulness; their hate and their jealousy. And Arjuna noticed this, and replied, "Thou all hath been blessed by the One God, and in the name of Justice and Gratitude, it is appropriate to prostrate, for without He who created all you would be inert."

And the people were stunned. How could they have been so blind? They now knew the ways of Prajapati, Lord of the Universe. And they knelt on all fours and they prostrated. And Arjuna then dismounted his steed and prostrated, and even the steed itself prostrated, for all are equal before the Lord of the Universe.

And so it came to pass that Arjuna was the Enlightened One. And all Guru-Babas, wise teachers who guide the faithful, trace their historical ties to him. And Arjuna was the first Guru-Baba. And he led the people to the coasts of Magadha.

Chapter 3: Vikarna

And Arjuna led his people to Magadha. There they bided their time, and built a city, Prajatapur, which now has been lost to the mists of time. The common folk of rural Magadha converted, but Prajapati's task was not done yet. It would be swiftly advanced by the 31st Guru-Baba, Vikarna.

By the time of Vikarna's ascension, a spring of humanity had occurred worldwide. People from all across the East came to trade in Magadha. However, there was a reason Prajapati had chosen Magadha for Arjuna's followers to settle at.

Not all but many cities in Magadha bought, sold, and utilized slaves. While the rural people of Magadha had converted, the population centers boasted their own gods. This would change with Vikarna.

The three greatest slave cities, famous in reputation for both their inhuman cruelty and economic wealth, were Udaipur, Surat, and Varanasi, with Varanasi being the most senior of the three.

These cities were known as the greatest not just for their massive slave workforce or their great wealth, however. They were infamous for training slave soldiers, soldiers who could fight like no others.

Vikarna would free the slaves, and gain an army in the process. He would found a kingdom, with the blessing of Prajapati, and govern the masses through the principles of Heaven.

Udaipur willingly converted. The masses of the city accepted Prajapati as their lord and abolished slavery. Surat tried to bribe Vikarna and promised him an army of slave soldiers, handing him a golden whip.

Vikarna refused, instead inspiring the slave soldiers to revolt and join Vikarna's army of soldiers and the men of his original army, the latter of whom occupied senior positions in Vikarna's army. The people of Surat soon converted. Only one city remained.

Varanasi towered over Vikarna's army. The city was the wealthiest and greatest in Magadha. The city sent out a champion, and the champion failed against Vikarna's own. The city sent a volley of arrows, which inflicted barely any casualties. Finally, Vikarna had enough. He stepped up to speak.

"I am Vikarna, the Lord's Chosen. Your masters may have told you lies about me, or they may have told you nothing. It does not matter. I have nothing to say to them. I speak only to you."

"First, I went to Udaipur. Those who were slaves in Udaipur now stand behind me, free. Next I went to Surat. Those who were slaves in Surat now stand behind me, free. Now I have come to Varanasi."

"I am not your enemy. Your enemy is beside you. Your enemy steals and murders your children. Your enemy has nothing for you but chains and suffering and commands. I do not bring you commands. I bring you a choice. And I bring your enemies what they deserve."

Vikarna paused briefly, and then stamped his foot and raised his fist. And the greatest city in Magadha became one of Rakanism's holiest cities, second only to Rajpur, with a simple command, but a command that would change Syrixia and the East forever.

"FORWARD!"
