So, I'd like to edit my profile so my TNP Nation on my profile is accurate. I wasn't actually sure what they asking me for when I originally signed up. I get it now and I'm embarrassed, but it says I don't have permission to edit my profile. Is that because I'm still in the process of being validated?

It could be, but I would suggest applying for citizenship anyway if you haven't already. Then you will have full access to the forum and the complete ability to edit your own profile.
