Naizerre to allow embassies once again
Naizerre's Foreign Ministry today announced that for the first time in more than a quarter of a century, the country will allow embassies to be set up within the nation's capital. The Ministry also announced a consulate program for nations with large expatriate populations within Naizerre.

Foreign embassies were mostly evacuated during the Bush War as control of the capital city changed hands monthly at the height of the fighting. The remaining embassies were expelled by the tribal warlord Wbütö when his militia burned the old capital of St Thomastown down. Following the end of the Bush War and then the rebellion of the Generals, the current capital was built on the coast, becoming an industrial center.

Nations wishing to establish embassies within Naizerre should inquire with the Foreign Ministry, including relevant information such as their proposed ambassador, his staff and requirements for an embassy.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade

To: The Government of High Chief Mboto 'Jack' Jones of Naizerre

I write to you on behalf of Her Imperial Majesty, Queen Matilda II's government of the Kingdom of McMasterdonia to apply for an embassy with your great nation state. The Kingdom of McMasterdonia and Naizerre have crossed paths multiple times in history, and this interaction has generally benefited both nations greatly. Most famous was the marriage of King Louis XI to Noako, the daughter of the High Chief (Ngê Gbïä) of the Ngongo dynasty who ruled over modern day Naizerre from 1350-1423. Queen Noako I as she is known in McMasterdonia, gave birth to three McMasterdonian children. While none of her children would rise to the rank of King or Queen of McMasterdonia, Queen Noako was beloved for her dedication to the people of a realm she had known little about when she first arrived in McMasterdonia in early 1385. In particular, her mastery of the McMasterdonian language which was not her native tongue, strongly endeared her to the McMasterdonian people.

In the face of greater global uncertainty and increased militarization and foreign interference from nations to the East, the Kingdom of McMasterdonia is particularly optimistic in regards to relationships with other eastern nations that reject the necessity of international warfare and respect the sovereignty of nation states. In addition, we wish to strengthen our relationship with nations where our historical ties are significant.

The proposed Ambassador from the Kingdom of McMasterdonia, is Admiral Percival Debonaire. Admiral Debonaire served in the Royal McMasterdonian navy for twenty five years before being raised to the rank of Admiral and General Commander of the Royal McMastedonian Navy. Admiral Debonaire studied at the Royal Academy in New Intelligentsia in the Far East during his teen years and has since then worked exclusively for the Government of McMasterdonia and her majesties royal navy. If accepted, the Admiral will be joined in Naizerre by his wife Claire and their three children.

Our Embassy will require a suitable secure residence for the Ambassador and his family. In addition we require undercover car parking, a communications room, and a safe room for the Ambassador should the need arise. The security of the Embassy can be left up for negotiation between the staff of our various departments, however, as general practice we always require our Ambassadors to travel in secure class vehicles for their own protection.

We hope that this letter and the appointment of Ambassador Debonaire will meet the approval of your government.

Regards,
Richard Narles
Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade

Your Excellency,

After much debate, the Executive Council of the Kingdom has charged me with the responsibility to submit this application to the government of Confederacy.

I, the Honorable Rudolph, do hereby affirm that our ambassador, Mr. James Fin, is a bona fide representative of the Government of Plembobria, and will abide by the laws of your nation, and ensure that his staff will do the same.

Together we shall work to establish long-lasting peace in the face of a world mired in war.

Accept, your excellency, the assurance of our highest consideration.

Official Message from His Majesty's Government of the Syrixian Empire:

His Majesty's Government
Official Message from the Syrixian Minister of Foreign Affairs
TO: The Government of His Excellency, High Chief Mboto "Jack" Jones of the Confederacy of Naizerre

His Majesty's Government of the Syrixian Empire hereby affirms its intention to submit and thusly does submit this application to the Confederacy of Naizerre. The Empire is ashamed at the war that has been going on in the East, and we are especially ashamed that, under the Bhargava government, we had the idiocy to take part in it. The Kumar government regrets this immensely, and this application is part of that.

This application and its symbolism run deep, as not only does it symbolize Syrixia moving away from its old ways of conduct, but it also symbolizes Syrixia reaching out to those who agree with the opinions shown in our regret: that war should never again come to pass, and that it is never the answer to anything in today's world; a globalized world, where humanity, which is by nature a social species, does what it does best.

Thus, we do hereby affirm that we shall present to the Confederacy our Ambassador, Sese Ngbandi. He is a Syrixian of Naizerri ethnic descent, and as such has studied much and knows Naizerre back to front. He was chosen almost unanimously by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be the Ambassador to Naizerre. We promise he will abide by the laws of the Confederacy and that his junior ambassadors, servants, and security will do the same.

My Utmost Regards,
Akshay Khan
