The Thomas Building Corporation, in association with the Ministry of Information is proud to present the latest installment in our nation's technological system in its very first major update since the creation of the system by the ministry a few years ago. Now, the update process will be hard and tedious, but the team behind the operation is beginning to work on plans to make sure that not only Guslant systems running the GusNet successfully transfer, but that national-level systems running GusNet code (such as the SyrNet) also get the proper update. Therefore without futher ado, here are the features of GusNet: Sovereign.

New and improved user interface, which allows more to be done by the user in a quicker way.

A simple touchscreen Home screen offers customization of as many icons as you need, making almost every gesture a click away.

Improved GPS and on-board gyroscope, adjusting the screen to fit the way you need to use it.

An interesting feature of the GusNet is that it is no longer compliant to the width of the screen and its four corners. From any angle (with Tilt Mode enabled) your computer, tablet, or smart phone can and will move diagonally along the screen, giving you the best viewing angle no matter how you hold the device.

Ayuda: Sovereign

The team behind Ayuda has been working long and hard, and we are so glad that they have finished a new version of Ayuda in time for the release of our update. Ayuda will now gladly pitch in if you ever need him, helping you based on information he has previously gathered from you or other sources. We at TBC your privacy is crucial, so all private information will only be accessed by Alicia Burns and May Leng, and never used unless related to a crime. He is the reason the update is named as such, as he will be given less and less restraints, having him at the status of an Associate Minister, as he should be, and will no longer have to be asked for clearance, making him able to serve better. Also, instead of the annoying "I can't help you with that" response, Ayuda will be able to contact whoever you need in order to solve your issue if he doesn't have the answer.

Amica

Finally, after many requests, Ayuda has a companion. Amica, or the Advanced Monitoring and Intelligence Control Assistant will be the assistant to the assistant, and will be popping into your conversations with Ayuda anytime that she feels necessary to add facts and statistics. As Ayuda grows in interface, his personal assistant will remain simple.

All GusNet nations should identify themselves as such here, and if you are running a system off of GusNet-based code (such as SyrNet) please also identify yourself and the features you need transferred over. A Thomas Building Corporation Representative will be with you shortly, telling you what actions need to be taken in order to make a seamless transition from GusNet to GusNet: Sovereign.

Thanks!

The Most Serene Republic is willing to collaborate with Guslant engineers to update the SyrNet with the new Sovereign operating system.

Dear The Most Serene Republic of Syrixia,

Hello, I'm Oliver Bennovio, Development Coordinator for GusNet: Sovereign. We are glad that you chose to switch operating systems to improve the functionality with the main GusNet system. I'd also like to introduce you to May Leng, who is our Director of Analytics and will be Syrixia's National GusNet representative in these talks. All she asks is that you allow her access to the central SyrNet command center in order to properly collect source code from the computers running SyrNet, to make sure that even though it may work on our own beta computers, it could fail really bad on your end. Please let Ms. Leng know what features you want transferred over and we will get working on it immediately. Sovereign is not planned to launch for another few months, pending the construction of the Thomas Complex, a crucial element in the system, and we will be able to complete SyrNet's update in time for the main launch of Sovereign.

Thanks.

Oliver "Benny" Bennovio

All the custom features applied to the SyrNet, as detailed in the original GusNet order form (OOC: thread) should be transferred and/or upgraded accordingly for Sovereign. We also will allow Ms. Leng access to the SyrNet command center in Asihelm.

However, we would like to let everyone know at this time that the SyrNet is now being renamed to the X-Net, in honor of Syrixia's iconic blue cross flag.
